Sentinus Beach Hotel

Poor, old and dirty checks out next day and found another hotel. The tools are not as advertised, bathroom was shocking and food hall was discussing

Let's start with the stars,2 star atleast. Rooms-not refurbished since opening Staff- i found 1 single staff that speak English ,not even I've complained to the manager ,none of them understand basic English Food- they need to learn what a 4 star hotel meals is meaning ,I can rank the food as 1 star. Hygiene- smell of feces 5 days of 7,beach dirty,they don't care to clean it ,the beach bar is looking disgusting, the snacks served ,are kept in the sun ,no fridge or hot trolley, uncovered, flies everywhere on top( quality of the snack ,ranked maybe 4 stars for zoo) Entertainment- that is a laugh,nothing to mach this "4 starts hotel" ,maybe for kindergarden kids. Their is so many negative things with this hotel ,that you should take notes every days ,to remember it and u going to lose your holiday writing reports. End of it ,DO NOT GO IN THIS HOTE,IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF POUNDS,as myself,GOING OUT FOR MEALS AND ENTERTAINMENT

I simply do not understand any reviews saying this was anything under 4 star. Though our stay was somewhat complicated with one member of our group going AWOL, they were dealt with efficiently and effectively with the rest of the holiday going perfectly. Rooms were cleaned perfectly everyday, the bar had nice cold drinks although they ran out early on most days (probably our fault), food kept us full. All of this was exacerbated by the perfect entertainment team (Halil and enes) who kept us occupied and we loved them both. The WiFi was a bit bad but all of the positives made up for this.

Please do not book this hotel we are still here and it is probably the worst hotel I have ever been to. Rooms are not like the pictures, there are no pads on the sunbeds round the pools which makes them impossible to lie on unless you don't want a back by the end of your holiday. The WiFi is non existent. The food is awful the same thing every day 😪 no variety at all. Soft drinks are either always running out or they are flat. Plus they give you a child's cup it's so small. Have tried to speak to the manager for 2 days now and am still waiting. Am so disappointed we booked all inclusive but are eating out at the batihan hotel each evening. The staff are really unhelpful however the cleaning staff are all lovely. We have been to Turkey lots of times in different places but this has spoilt it for us it's not even the resort its just the hotel. Also if you do not have a second language and you are English again avoid because no one speaks a little English here so you will struggle.

I don’t ever really leave reviews for hotels and take a ‘it is what is it’ approach usually! But this hotel was quite honestly shocking! Never has it been a 4 star! Most certainly does not cater for the English customer! First, upon arrival we were given zero information on where to find the room, times for meals and drinks etc! We were only given 1 room key (you usually get at least 2)! The WiFi did not work at all during our first night! We were told to come back in the morning to sort it out! There was nothing to eat upon arrival at the hotel, apart from a plate of what can only be described as left overs from the meal that evening! Moving on to the restaurant….it was sweating hot as the outdated air con was lacking in coolness! A lot of chairs were broken, the table cloths were almost always stained! The food is covered in flies (due to the doors having to be open as no air con) The waiter staff have a very lax attitude to clearing away the used plates! Many occasions there were no clean plates/bowls and staff had to be asked-they weren’t always the most helpful or polite either! 3 days out of 7 we were there the juice machine had ran out of juice, the coffee machine had ran out of coffee! The napkin dispensers could have done with a quick wipe down! There was no fresh fruit available in the restaurant, apart from one evening we complained and were treated to watermelon (only 2 slices per guest though) Onto the pool bar…yes we were served drinks in the day in small plastic cups which was not an issue! The issue was when you were given drinks in a small paper espresso cup, not even 2 mouth fills and you’re back to the bar to order another! The staff at the bar most days would make you wait a good 5 minutes before acknowledging you standing there! Asking for a beer was like something that had never heard of! Honestly I thought the girl behind the bar thought I’d asked her a mind boggling question when I asked for a beer (even pointing at the tap) Friday evening….the whole of the hotel ran out of beer completely, there was also no pop or juice! They also ran completely out of vodka!! We had luckily been out all day, but to return to your hotel to be told there was no beer of juice is an absolute joke! I believe the maintenance team went to the local shop for a few cans of beer that was served to guests! Again not really acceptable in an all inclusive hotel! In the week we were there the bed sheets were not changed, the toilet or shower were not cleaned. Although we did have clean towels almost every day! The management team seem to like standing around the pool bar/restaurant area not really doing a great lot! I think o recall a life guard being around the pool 2 out of the 7 days we were there! I could go on but I think you get the idea of the place! We, as a family tried to make the most of the situation we were in….but unfortunately you cannot polish a turd! I think I speak on behalf of all 5 of us….a week was enough,

This hotel was a huge disappointment. The hotel room was big, bathroom was in terrible condition. Hygiene in hotel was very bad. This is the hotel for 2 stars, not 4 unfortunately. Not recommended.
