Meridian

I stayed here for two nights on my travel through Kazahkstan. I usually stay at chain hotels but there is none in this city. I booked a basic room and it was huge! Free Wi-Fi available, water kettle and tea provided. Daily room service. The hotel is not directly in the city center but easy walkable via the pedestrian bridge at the station (the station is in between). Close to the hotel are several malls with everything you could need, also food outlets. The hotel itself doesn’t offer breakfast but there is a 24h restaurant attached to the hotel. As everywhere in Qaragandha, you should be able to speak some Russian also for the reception at the hotel or use Google translator. Otherwise very friendly staff and I was also able to store my bags before late train departure. Btw if you don’t want to walk to the center, use Yandex.
