Hale Napili

We had a lovely stay at Hale Napili. The staff were unfailingly kind and helpful. Our studio apartment was well-appointed, very comfortable, and quiet. There was plenty of room for the two of us (and plenty of drawers and room in the closet for our stuff), the kitchen had everything we needed, and there were lots of thoughtful design touches that made the place more comfortable. The location – right on the beach at Napili Bay – is great for swimming, snorkeling, and watching the sunset. For possibly better snorkeling, check out Honokeana Cove (lots of turtles, a 10-minute walk to the South) and Kapalua Bay (lots of fish, a 10-minute walk to the North). You will also find plenty of restaurants within a short walk or a 10-minute drive, and Snorkel Bob’s, a place to rent snorkel gear, is literally right across the parking lot from Hale Napili. If you need to buy groceries, the Napili Market -- a nice (but expensive) grocery store -- is only a 10-minute drive. This was our first visit, but it’s easy to understand why Hale Napili has many long-time returning visitors. If we return to Maui, we would happily return to Hale Napili.

This is the first time we have stayed in this area of the island, and we loved it. The accommodations were clean and beautiful. It is nice to be able to use the washer and dryer (and even an ironing board)! The beach chairs were definitely the place to be at sunset or just reading in the shade of the day and listening to the waves roll in. The staff was friendly, and the grounds were very nice. The Kapalua Coastal Trail is amazing, and we enjoyed being able to walk right from our condo to the trail. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend the Hale Napili.

This is the best place ever! Location is perfect. So peaceful, wondeful, a dream. You can rest, or play in the waves, or just lay on the buoys, or even snorkel and see turtles, and so many other fish. Clear water, perfect sand. very well equipped studios. 3rd time visit in 12 years and it did not get older. Amazing place ! Always a warm welcome from Jamie.

Hale Napili is an amazing place to stay. It is kid friendly and the staff of great/accommodating. It is also very quiet and peaceful at night. Room was very clean and our stay was everything we could have asked for and more. Will stay again soon

Really wonderful little resort right in the middle of Napili Bay beach. My only hesitation in writing this review is that I was really considering keeping this place a secret, as I will be back and so probably don't want the place to get too popular, such that it would be difficult for me to book when I decide to go again, which will be next year. Absolutely loved staying here, from the clean rooms, to the well maintained landscaped, and can't leave out the grill. To use the grill in the evening while looking at the sunset over Napili Bay is just incredible.

For 10+ years Napili Bay has been our 'happy place,' and for the last 4 years Hale Napili has been our 'happy place within a happy place,' as we have returned there multiple times. The site is beautiful both in terms of beachfront location and well-kept grounds. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and wonderful. When we see all those people staying in the high-rises or further inland, we feel extraordinarily lucky to be in Hale Napili.
