Excepcional
CClymene LimWe stayed at this hotel in March. While this review is in English, we communicated to them in Chinese. We also observed that they could converse with simple English with the international guests.
Service - The hotel staff were friendly. We were greeted upon entering the door, and attended to immediately. The check-in process was fast. They also explained to us about the amenities - there is an enclosed area where we can chill, enjoy free drinks and ice cream. We were also entitled to one free drink from the par per day. Even the housekeepers were friendly. There was an elderly housekeeper on Level 8 who greeted us and offered to guide us to our rooms - was impressed by this because I wasn't expecting this from any housekeeper from any hotel! The receptionist at the level 2 morning buffet hall was also very attentive. I was looking around for the toilet, when one of the staff saw me and asked me if I needed any help. Please keep this proactiveness up :)
Food - The breakfast spread was huge and the food was scrumptious. Absolutely recommend. It has a mix of local ********* dishes and western food. I especially love the ********* food spread! (see photos for some of the food options, though i didnt take photo of everything).
Room - The room was sufficient and clean. Housekeeping also does a great job at tidying the room.
Location - Right next to Kaohsiung Main Station. I could walk directly to the hotel from the station - it seems like the renovation works that the earlier hotel reviews talked about has been resolved, so there is no longer a need to go to the hotel in a roundabout manner. Super convenient.
Other Amenities - They have washing machines, dryers, and even an ironing board! Powder detergent is provided too. This was something we really appreciated. Also, like what I earlier mentioned, they have a hall with the free-flow ice cream and drinks, which is a great place to chill and relax - especially at night after a long day of activities.
Overall, I will recommend Kindness hotel to those staying in Kaohsiung!

BBRIANSo why was the cleanliness and service poor. Firstly as being a weekend the price was doubled. Checked in and found the room attendants cleaning cloth in the bathroom drawer. Ok this probably was a mistake so why did the carpet need another vacuum after finding multiple crumbs! Made a complaint to the reception staff and they resent the room staff to revacuum. No compensation was offered. I won't stay here again.

The reception staff were knowledgeable, professional, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate individual needs were truly commendable.
Moving on to the rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern, clean, and cozy ambiance. The well-appointed rooms were spacious enough to allow for a comfortable stay. The contemporary decor and tasteful furnishings added a touch of elegance to the overall experience. I particularly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and maintenance, as everything appeared to be in pristine condition.

AAlxnelyHad everything I needed for a short stay in Kaohsiung. The hotel was very clean and my room, as well as the breakfast hall had a great view. The location is not too central, however you can reach the metro within a 10 minute walk.
Overall for the price it’s a really good accommodation, I’d come again in the future!

AAdel AinI had a wonderful stays here. The staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke English well, which made communication easy and pleasant. The entire hotel was spotless, the cleanliness really stood out and made the stay extra comfortable.
Breakfast was another highlight, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for excellent service, great food, and a clean, welcoming environment plus just a minute away from nearest train station.

UUsuario invitadoIt took us 5 minutes from MTR station to the hotel. The room is large enough for us to open 2 large luggages at the same time. For me, there had many different TV channels to watch. As having a balcony, the view is very good. The breakfast provided is not bad as there are different types of food including local and western types. Moreover, the coffee is free for the whole day. The staff is nice and helpful.

GGenevieveThe location of Han Hsien is very convenient. It’s only twenty minutes from the airport. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and markets, fruit stalls and flower shops in the neighbourhood. The Birthday Park is just around the corner. There is a pool, a spa and a Cantonese dim sum restaurant in the hotel which are all of good standard. The hotel is not new but it is well-maintained.

IIrenena FrancesThis hotel is accessible to everywhere. There is also a 7-11 convenience store near the hotel. The breakfast spread is not a lot like other hotels but enough to fill our stomach. Staffs at the hotel are very polite and helpful too. The toilet seat comes with heater which is necessary during cold weather and it is separated from the shower area with a glass panel.

TThe Happie HypnoOne of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Everything about the hotel was perfectly thought through and designed for the user experience.
Located conveniently abiT off the main busy stretch but walking distance to lots of food and bars, a little longer walk and you would get into the main busy shopping stretch. The hotel was super thoughtful in the service and amenities they provided. There was 24hrs free coffee, tea and ice cream which was self service, a laundry room with free use of their washing machines and dryers - the staff would even help you to dry your stuff when the machine is done washing! There was a 24 hour reception which is manned by really polite and kind staff who are always there to answer your questions even at 1am!
The room was well designed with all the amenities provided, from hair shampoo, conditioners, bath wash, moisturisers and even facial wash!
The rooms are super clean and there was an in-room tap with reverse osmosis water for you to refill your water and boil tea with!
The best part, the room also came with free breakfast which was pretty sumptuous for a simple hotel. The buffet spread of stir fried dishes, rice, porridge, soup (oh my god so good!) cereals, salads, coffee, teas and juices.
The service was also really good. Unobtrusive and always polite. They are really efficient and nice.
I would def stay here again if I come by!
