The place is great, with a beautiful view of the sea. The beach is a bit of a walk but nothing serious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean, although there was some trash outside my door that was taken away only a day after i arrived.
Overall great experience!

This is a heritage property and they have maintained the same old structure but have renovated it with very careful details on not compromising on the heritage aesthetics. The staff, especially sneha and mathew were very cordial and helpful. Food was excellent and we did invite a few guests to their restaurant and they were delighted. All in all a wonderful experience and highly recommended this property

The ac in the room allotted to me doesnt have cooling at all. Brought this to the notice of staff at reception from day i checked in i. E. May 8th. No action taken so far by the hotel till now, yesterday had told another room will be allotted but that too not done. If the ac is not working then such room shouldn't be put up for online booking. So anybody checking in hotel please ensure ac working properly, because after taking room there won't be any solution to the problem.

It was a nice stay in benale international. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean & hygiene. The staff was polite and helpful. The problems are they did not serve north indian food in breakfast like poha, pratha etc. Also there's a connectivity issue as you can't get rikshaw or taxi from the gate of the hotel. You have to walk a km to get it. Overall it's worth staying in benale.

I had a wonderful experience at State Beach Resort in Kannur. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my stay very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious, offering a great start to the day. The resort's peaceful setting is perfect for relaxation, exactly what I was looking for. Just a heads-up, it's about an hour from the airport, so plan accordingly for early flights. Highly recommend this resort for a tranquil retreat.

UUsuario invitadoHaving stayed in other niramaya properties, i had similar expectations from vaidekam. Location is a secluded hill top, ideal for a no noise night. The property has two entry points. The one google suggests is a twisted one through a 'jungly' area which makes you wonder whether you are lost in the middle of nowhere. Dont take this one especially if you are coming in the night. You are greeted by friendly and courteous staff. Check in process was seamless. Elderly might a vehicle to move around between room and restaurant / spa etc, because the area of this property is quite vast. The rooms are really spacious, clean, airy, and understated with all necessary creature comforts and paraphernalia that you expect in this price point. The view for almost all rooms should be similar i think : all overlook the valley of the small hillock where this property is located. I was unhappy about three things here. First was the very minimal landscaping and gardening. Probably they wanted to maintain that rustic vibe, or may be the works are underway. But when you pay a fortune for one night, you would be expect some visually appealing landscape. Second, there were mosquitoes in our room (not in our other family member rooms) and and couldn't sleep well. And third, even though the dinner items were fairly priced, the taste was ok and the tea and snacks were exorbitantly priced for the quality offered. But no qualms there because it doesn't really spoil your experience. Breakfast spread was good and tasted great. Swimming pool was also well maintained, but no kids area. Activity centre was limited with a treadmill, a body massager and some games. Overall, this is an ayurvedic retreat rather than a resort per se. If you are going as a couple to just unwind, it's good. But if you are going with kids for a family picnic, this may not be worth your money.

The gap underneath the doors was too much which caused the noise to enter inside. This was conveyed to the reception then itself. The services overall were very good.

UUsuario invitadoStay was good. Amenities in the hotel room were sufficient. Reception staff deena was courteous and helped us to check in little early. Thanks to her. Advise to the hotel. The hotel management should think about installing sound proofing inside the hotel room, there is a conference room/party hall across, late night parties and the noise is completely audible in the room and it affects the quality of the sleep.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel has a great location, and the staff’s behavior was polite and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the room conditions were not up to the mark. The washroom had an unpleasant odor, which persisted throughout our stay. The bed appeared to have insects, and unfortunately, my daughter developed an infection on her neck, which we noticed in the morning. Proper hygiene and maintenance of the rooms are critical and should be improved urgently. While the location and staff were the redeeming factors, i hope the management takes this feedback seriously to enhance the guest experience in the future.

UUsuario invitadoSeems like a reasonably new property but a lot of their fittings appear dated. My water closet simply wouldn't flush properly and you do not need a vibrant imagination to realise the results. The ac in my room too had a mind if it's own, choosing to work and strike work randomly. The buffet breakfast is very pedestrian and the coffee is horrendous (i'm a coffee geek so i might have a bias here. I didn't try other meals as there are plenty of good restaurant options nearby. Most of the staff seem unmotivated and unhappy at their jobs. Beware that if you select the third floor like i did, good luck sleeping as the 4th floor has a party hall where something is always happening and there are always people 'singing' off key into the microphone. This place is rated as a 4 star hotel but i think even 3 stars would be stretching it. I selected it only because i needed to access some nearby areas during my trip.
