Beautiful location, stunning views, wonderful staff, eco friendly. Need we say any more? We loved our stay. Thank you Tushara, Sarath, and the rest of the staff who took great care of us, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Best wishes.

Bitter disappointment. No hot tub or spa as per description. No atmosphere. Rude, unhelpful staff apart from one kind man who appeared to do everything while other staff sat around. Freezing cold, dirty swimming pool. Bar/restaurant closed. No shops nearby. We ordered food from the 'chef' which took 2 hours to be served. When it did, it was overcooked and dry. Unclean accommodation (cobwebs, ants, discarded rubbish/bottles). Broken, unsafe furniture. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but only stayed 1. We spoke to the manager on the phone who was initially understanding and kind and implied that the food would be complimentary due to our dissatisfaction. However, upon checkout, we were charged for the food. When we spoke to the manager again, he was rude and incredibly disrespectful claiming we just wanted a cheap stay. Overall, the stay could have been wonderful but the atmosphere, staff and cleanliness let it down. This accommodation is hugely overpriced, dated and in need of a massive renovation. We have stayed in 13 different places during our 2 week stay in Sri Lanka and all of them have been friendly, welcoming and good value for money. This place falls well short of the true Sri Lankan welcome and is a stain on the kind, good nature or the Sri Lankan culture. We are not a complaining family but we feel the way we were treated and the amount we were charged warrants a warning for others.

Beautifull location located on the bank of the mahaweli river. Well maintained garden. Freindly staff. Delicious foods with variety. 17 km s from kandy city and took 30 minutes to reach there worth travaling. Highly recommended definitely will be back.

We had messy experience here. Booked here for 2 nights .but we checkout within an hours due to bad room experience. Hair on sink. Bad smell from wash room. Bed was messy. Bed sheet with several stains. I dont know why they treated us like that. Floor is not cleaned and curtains are very ugly and untidy. Gekhos everywhere.bad smell inside room. Food is somewhat good. No locks for the rooms from out side.

The only good thing about this place is the view. The rest, oh god! Not hygienic at all. Bed linen really not up to standard. There were spots everywhere! I had to put a towel on it and use it. We planned to stay here for 2 nights but we spent just one night since it was too late to book another hotel at that time. My husband urged me to simply wait till morning so he can take me away from this terrible place. The receptionist was not friendly at all. We checked all the comments before booking and I don’t know how a sane person could ever stayed there say it was wonderful! Do not recommend if you are hygiene conscious. The road is also too narrow. Our jeep barley made it to the place. We had to fold the side mirrors. When later checked the vehicle body had scratches from trimmed twigs and branches along the narrow path. The rooms has no locks and the phones do not work after 6pm . The washroom is smelly ! I do not know about foreigners they brag so much about but I as a Sri Lankan would not recommend that place to anybody sane!
