We’ve just got back from a 2 week stay. We’ve had a good stay. We stayed 2 years ago and we can see an improvement but there’s still room for more improvement which been told they’ve got plans to do so. - There was only 2 of us, we were given a pool view room with loads of beds. This room (we did find the shower location odd) was clean and spacious however we did ask to change rooms due to the shower leaking all in the bedroom - there was no seal, the toilet leaked and there were 3 steps leading up to the corridor which isn’t ideal when you use a wheelchair / crutches and your husband has to lift the wheelchair. Maria the manager changed us to a smaller room (sadly didn’t get photos of this room) which was perfect for us size wise but again the shower still leaked but we made it work as we didn’t want to keep moving rooms and were only in the room to sleep, the view was of the mountains. The air con were new and was well needed. - The food was better than it was and there was a bit more choice. You can find salad, chips, mousakka, cheese pie, veggies, fruit and lovely cakes like baklava and so on. The snack bar is new and is ok but can be samey. You have a choice of chips, gyros, salad, baguettes etc. You can watch the chefs cook eggs, burgers and pizza etc at main meal times. - The pool bar had a cocktail menu the best been strawberry delight, local spirits (gin, ouzo etc), premium spirits which aren’t included, soft drinks and frappes which again aren’t included these are 2€. - The entertainment was ok but non existent some nights and sadly wasn’t very organised. For example Greek night was meant to be on a Saturday but was on a Friday instead with no warning to guests which caused a couple of unhappy people. The quizzes were the same and a bit odd. They do various activities during the day. This is an improvement as there wasn’t any of this 2 years ago. - The staff - Maria the manager (she’s new) is brilliant and is just what the hotel needed. She’s very hands on, always walking round checking guests / food and so on. We can’t fault her at all, she’s a credit to the hotel. Savas the owner is such a lovely guy, he remembered us from 2 years ago and made us feel welcome, he gave us some wine on our last day to bring home - such a lovely gesture. The chef at breakfast always made the effort to speak to us and the chef who does the other meals were second to none he checked if everyone was happy with the food and said he’d cook us something that wasn’t on the menu all we’d have to do is ask. The waiters were nice and friendly and were quick at clearing your table. Staff on the pool bar were nice and Nikos (he was there 2 years ago) is still our favourite. Animation team are good however one of them can be a bit hit and miss, what I mean by this is sometimes she’ll speak and other times completely blank you. The cleaners cleaned our room everyday, they always spoke when they saw us. We can’t fault the staff. - The sun beds round the po
