Filoxenia Hotel & Spa

I have stayed here 5 times now since 2018 and every one has been excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food at breakfast is varied and freshly prepared, and the staff are friendly and helpful. On this occasion, the service was exceptional with the manager stepping in to help with phone calls when our vehicle broke down and again when one of our group’s luggage hadn’t been delivered by the airline. I cannot recommend this hotel enough as a place to stay if you are visiting Kalavryta and the surrounding area, it is brilliant.

Luxury room with great facilities. Friendly staff and in the centre of this small town in reach of all restaurants/bars etc Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Very good value for money and would highly recommend. However the spa was being refurbished during our stay and as our stay included free use and we were only told a few days before hand, a small refund or bottle of wine in room would have been appreciated

The hotel is bright and airy and the rooms are comfortable, spacious with a really nice bathroom. This, however, is not what merits special attention We booked the Filoxenia for three nights for our visit to Kalavryta. However, it proved to be an eventful stay in more ways than one. On our first evening there, we visited the Holocaust Memorial and at some point, I received a bite on my leg. On the afternoon on the second day, I started to feel unwell. At first, I believed it might be Covid but it was not. I ended up in the local hospital with a bacterial infection on my leg and had to have intravenous antibiotics. During this time, the hotel and the staff were magnificent. They kept the room open for my wife and looked after her. They made up breakfasts for me in the hospital. They even sent me boxes of cakes and biscuits. I cannot praise them highly enough. To be taken ill in a foreign country is a daunting prospect but to have that level of service was so heartening. They even volunteered to come to the hospital and translate for us So, if you are looking to stay in Kalavryta, this hotel offers everything you want and more. We will never forget the kindness and service we received ❤️

This is a very modern hotel and the rooms are light and beautifully decorated. There is a mini fridge with soft drinks and chocolate. It has a good shower and comfy beds. The is a little balcony where you can sit and watch the world go by. They serve a nice continental breakfast and I am dairy free, so when I asked them for plant based milk they quickly went to get me some. I was extremely grateful. It has a Spa but that was being renovated when we were here so can't comment on it. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Staying in the middle of the Peloponnese, but outside the skiing season, perfect location for exploring the area (in search of butterflies and birds). Given it some thought and, to be honest, can't think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel. Not just me. I've read the other reviews and we all agree: you can't go wrong - it's a gem!
