The host, Rocky, and his team were so kind, responsive and attentive. They are very communicative over WeChat in both Chinese and English. Service was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, lots of hot water and good water pressure, and heating and A/C unit in the room. The shared areas are charming and lovingly decorated, great for Instragram photos! There are board games and a foosball table to keep the kids entertained. The on-site restaurant served fresh farm-to-table dishes everyday, with lots of variety for both Chinese and foreign patrons. My family was invited to pick fresh veggies at their adjoining farm, and we were able to use their bikes (with child seats and helmets) to tour the beautiful villages nearby. UNESCO villages are only 15 minutes away, so the Inn was an excellent base for leaisurely exploring. There is also a fun and quirky stone museum, a beautiful old diaolou, and a very modern bookstore converted from a granary right next to the Inn too. Rocky and his team do a lot of community outreach - preserving old buildings, employing local youth and elderly, promoting Kaiping culture and history and educating the next generation on farming techniques. The Inn plays a key role in serving and revitalising the village, with lots of historical and cultural information in English, waaaaay better than Lovely Planet. It is a comfortable and charming place to stay, and an absolute gem for solo and family travellers, and I cannot recommend TK Village highly enough!! I will definitely revisit.

This is a fabulous place to stay to explore the Dialou and surrounding countryside. The family room was great . The staff are really friendly and helpful the bikes are excellent and the food at the restaurant (we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner ) is very tasty and delicious. We will definitely return as we had such a great stay and there is so much to explore in the area. The honey and fruit we bought from the hostel when leaving was amazing. Thank You to Rocky and all the staff at TK Hostel for providing visitors with such a fabulous place to stay.

超出預期整體感覺非常好！早餐精湛美味！另外一個細節特別好就是洗澡站立地方是熱的，這樣一個細節就讓人很舒服，房間整潔乾淨睡了一個美美的覺，周邊有書店，還有後麪沿着小路走走看看非常舒服！下次還會入住！

沒有電梯，行李箱得靠員工搬，房間是水泥地，還算乾淨，床有點咯吱咯吱響。相比這個價格性價比不高，有點簡陋。勝在位置，晚上赤坎古鎮看完回去不遠，開車十分鐘左右，民宿隔壁就是天下糧倉書店，好在衹住一晚

陽台位置絕對經典！左邊看糧倉頂部，右邊看碉樓，坐在平台上喝茶，還可以遙望赤坎的燈光和新年煙花。走到自立村不過20分鐘，地理位置優越。

It is an international youth space based on rural practices, which has been transformed from two abandoned factory buildings in the 80s and 90s into today's youth hostels and community centers. A group of young people who love the slow life of the countryside and residents surrounding communities work and live here. The hostel is equipped with Chinese and Western restaurants, a casual bar, and a 30-acre four-season farm. During various festivals and holidays, we hold various cultural activities for residents to participate in from time to time, such as farmland picking, village exploration, and learning to weave with local community elder ladies...
There are many spacious and comfortable public spaces in the hostel, with spacious courtyards and open-air terraces, and leisure and entertainment facilities such as book reading, table football, TV, calligraphy experience, and café for guests to enjoy; It can also provide venues and equipment for group activities such as meetings, lectures, dinners, parties, barbecues, movie watching, KTV, cooking, camping, etc.
