"Choosing this guesthouse for our Kaifeng trip was absolutely the right decision! It's right next to Bianxi Lake, just a few minutes' walk to the lakeside promenade. You get stunning views of the 6,000-acre lake without even leaving your room. In the mornings, we strolled along the willow-lined Sui Embankment, and in the evenings, we watched the sunset over Tokyo Bridge from our window. At night, we could even walk to see the light and music fountain – the combination of Song-dynasty architecture and the vast lake created an incredible atmosphere. Throughout our stay, we were wonderfully looked after by our butler, Fancy. Before we even arrived, she proactively sent us parking tips and a list of local delicacies. Knowing we wanted to explore West Lake thoroughly, she specially planned a route for us that avoided the crowds. Any questions we had during our trip were answered instantly, and she was always so gentle and thoughtful. The room was clean and comfortable with complete facilities, and it was very convenient for getting to Qingming Shanghe Park and Gulou. The superb lake view combined with Fancy's impeccable service made our Kaifeng trip a perfect experience. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel environment is absolutely stunning, a perfect blend of sprawling green spaces and Song Dynasty-inspired architecture, making you feel like you've traveled through time. The facilities are brand new, and the staff are incredibly enthusiastic and responsive. On the afternoon of our check-in, Kaifeng experienced an unseasonal heavy downpour. The service staff remained very calm, and within minutes, a technician arrived to check the drainage. Later, I requested room cleaning, and they responded promptly, even bringing a fruit platter. All in all, the stay was an excellent experience, five-star recommended!"

The downside is unprofessional reception at the lobby; they asked for guest names and other information from afar as soon as we entered, which felt impolite. The room was cold without heating, and while there was air conditioning, if you didn't turn it on, you'd wake up freezing, feeling cold all over your head. Running the AC for too long was also uncomfortable. Someone was changing a baby's diaper in the lobby... it definitely needs some improvements, but it's saved by its price and location."
