We’re owners here and are currently onsite. We booked a studio for 5 days to connect with our week in a 1 bedroom condo. I made this reservation a year in advance. Requesting to not be in the units overlooking the kids pools. That’s where they were going to put us! After quite a few minutes they came up with a different option and we were told it was clean and just needed to be inspected and then they would text us it was ready. It was 4:30 when we finally got to our unit. This unit is so beat up and dirty and is in need of a complete overhaul. Walls are dirty, dinged up everywhere, streaks running down, paint chipped, baseboards are thrashed, carpet is filthy, soaking tub is dirty, dishes are dirty, curtains have what looks like a bloodstained spot and are broken. We first met with a Manager named Alice. The irony of sitting on dirty, stained worn cushions on the couch in the lobby waiting to discuss our dirty room was very telling. Alice came and saw our room and agreed that it was not up to their standards. Well someone else inspected it and cleared it! We then heard from Delaney at 10:30 and were told of a lot of things that we can’t do and how limited they are as staff to help us due to how their system works. We couldn’t move to a 1 bedroom and be able to stay for our entire stay, we couldn’t move to a different building etc etc. We have a memorial service to attend and couldn’t be here to change rooms so they expected us to get everything ready to move at 6 am and then couldn’t guarantee that we would have a room yet when we returned from the paddle out! No give on their part at all. We waited 4 hours for her to call us back and we had to call her. She said she left a message, we had no missed calls. This whole experience has us questioning our desire to remain owners. We will see what they do when we move to our 1 bedroom in 3 days. We opted to not move another time due to no way of knowing how long that would take. The property is in need of repairs and deep cleaning everywhere. Lobby furniture, pool cushions, doors are dirty, carpet in hallways is stained. Windows are dirty, our hallway had bags of trash and laundry with pots and pans on it for the first day. This is not what we bought and are paying for with our maintenance fee. This is unacceptable and we are seriously disappointed. I will update after we check into the one bedroom unit next week. At this point we don’t recommend it as it’s seriously gone downhill in everything except price.
