There are Marinas for boat and water craft rentals close making it convenient if you want to enjoy the lake but do not own a boat or jet ski. There is a community ramp next the house that is convientent if the water in the lake is high enough (check with the owner). Just a few miles down the road you will find an assortment of places to eat and shopping. Austin is a short drive with plenty of activites and nightlife.
