Poseidon Oysterbay Resort

This is an excellent kelong holiday which is good for bonding of family, friends or colleagues. We drove to Telok Sengat where a speed boat was arranged to ferry us to the kelong which was less than 5 minutes away. We were greeted by Jane who warmly welcomed us. There were 9 of us in total in the group, all family members. We were allocated our rooms which were all air-condition with en-suite bathroom (a rarity on any kelong). Rooms can accommodate 4, 3 or 2 pax. The bed was comfortable & room clean. On arrival check-in was at 2pm, we were arranged tea at 3pm which was sumptuous. Dinner at 7pm includes steamboat & barbecue seafood, chicken & satey. The speciality of the house is their raw oysters which was of a French breed. Since it was not included in our weekday package price, we ordered it ale-carte at RM12 each. The oysters were excellent. Food was abundant & we could not finish it. For those who can still it, instant noodle & bread are provided for supper. Breakfast includes packed nasi lemak, oyster porridge, coffee, bread & eggs. Activities include fishing, canoeing, table tennis, karaoke & darts. There is also a small assortment of books & a tv room. My favourite past time is relaxing in the peace & quiet of the place. (Only on the weekdays as there are less guest there) An enjoyable 2 days 1 night stay and I would strongly recommend

Spent one night at Poseidon Oysterbay and it was wonderful! We wished we had had one more day. Even though it was busy, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The rooms, we had 2 upstairs, were basic but clean and comfortable with a stunning view over the water. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were great and especially the boss lady was brilliant! So very helpful and friendly, all comms before were prompt and informative and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and even messaged us afterwards to ask about our son who unfortunately had been poorly during the stay. And oh, mustn't forget Tiger the dog who we all loved too! Thank you team!
