Opero Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru

Overall the hotel is near the South Key Mall and the hotel has shuttle bus to take you bro the mall which is good and it run every hour. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Central to prime location, with good food and shopping! However, shower head design needs to be improved 🙏

First time stay at Opero Hotel and it was a pleasant experience. Let’s start with the extra mile the hotel management took to fulfil all my requests (high floor room, privacy and away from lift). They gave us a room at the top (15th) floor and the very last room which we love and the view was fantastic. The only downside was how the bathroom was designed ( the shower area and bathtub together which makes it a bit hard if we have elderly family members around. Other than that, room was clean, aircon super cold (we love it). Reasonable price with breakfast included. We tried the in room dining for supper(available 24hrs). To our surprise, service was fast and the food were delicious! Price reasonable too! Morning breakfast was a delight when they have a wide range of food to choose from and the all food were yummy. Definitely will come back again! Good job Opero Hotel ❤️

The accommodation provided a comfortable stay; however, there was an issue with the shower tub drainage system causing frequent flooding after just 3-5 minutes of use. This may not be ideal for travelers seeking a more thorough shower experience.

Hotel room is small but the bed is comfortable, hotel breakfast was really good. Only downside is that there is only a rain shower head and no normal shower head. Due to the inconvenience of the rain shower head, I would not consider going back there. Hope the hotel management will do something to fix this and gain more guests back. There are many similar reviews about the rain shower head as well.
