We stayed the night before graduation in a King Room number 318. The lobby and common areas are stunning and take you back to a bygone era. The staff are incredibly wonderful and happy to share the history of the hotel and aspects of the design. The room was incredibly spacious and well appointed with a TV, full sized pull out sofa, and desk. The bathroom had a double vanity with excellent shower products, a soaking tub, and a walk in shower. The mattress was incredibly soft and I slept like a baby the night before graduation. The rooms have a lot of beautiful character but aspects, such as the ceiling having paint flaking and cracks, has the hotel showing her age. I'd love to see the rooms get a bit more TLC as far as touching up some aging aspects. I wish I had snapped a few photos, but with the excitement of graduation I didn't prioritize photos of the room. This is an excellent hotel for friends, family, or out of town graduates to stay. Parking was easy, complimentary, and we were steps away from the Mini Dome. I had an early graduation ceremony, so this permitted me a close stay to the University, and saved me time from having to fight for parking, walk in the cold for a long time, and get situated. I highly recommend this hotel for a close stay to the University. It was a good value for the experience.
