«The location is good, very clean but some disappointment. I booked river view and can see the river view from my room as I attached the photo. I booked the room with some inclusions like full mini bar included which gave us 1 can of cola and 1 small packet of juice, no welcome drink given to us, the complimentary soup is not worth at all. Except all these it’s worth to stay here. Better book it without the inclusions or all these and save money.»

«Very nice hotel... well located, inside the walls of the histroic water town, but in a quiet part, away from the hustle of the crowded streets. Room was clean and easily large enough.. with good lighting and private toilet/shower, and daily room service. The buffet breakfast, included in the room price was very good. I speak no mandarin; so I had to communicate with the reception/front desk staff using translate on phones. The front desk staff were wonderful... cheerful, helpful. They went to great lenghts to explain to me how to obtain and buis ticket to Shanghai, where to catch the bus and so on... also the same staff were extremely helpful with day to day questions. The only strange or negative thing is that when shown the room, it looks wonderful as it includes a small private verandah with table and chair. However, there is a fixed wire screen preventing the inhabitant from accessing the room's verandah... kind of strange and certainly a negative»

«Era el cumpleaños de mi bebé, así que decidimos hacer un viaje improvisado con toda la familia. Reservamos dos tipos de habitación: la habitación individual Chuxin y la habitación familiar con balcón junto al río Juenyue. El dueño nos indicó la ubicación con antelación, nos recogió en el aparcamiento y nos ayudó a reservar entradas con descuento. La habitación fue una auténtica sorpresa, incluso mejor que en las fotos. La descripción era demasiado discreta. La habitación familiar decía tener una cama doble de 1,8 + 1,2 m, pero en realidad era una cama doble de 2 + 1,5 m, perfecta para cuatro personas. La habitación individual tenía una cama tatami de 1,8 m, en la que podían dormir fácilmente dos personas. También tenía un pequeño sofá y un gran ventanal que daba al patio, lo que la hacía muy económica. Cada habitación estaba equipada con un inodoro desechable, una toalla facial desechable y una toalla de baño desechable, lo cual fue muy agradable para alguien como yo, que tiene una ligera obsesión por la limpieza. Recomiendo especialmente la habitación familiar con balcón junto al río. Está ubicado en el centro de una línea principal del hotel, frente al río. Tomar té y cerveza en el balcón es muy poético. Contemplaba la vista desde el balcón, y los transeúntes de la orilla opuesta y del bote de remos me observaban. Fue un respiro del ajetreo, que me ayudó a bajar el ritmo. Muy recomendable.»

«What a beautiful hotel, from outside to inside. It's located just outside Xitang Scenic Area, but they have a backdoor through the garden where the staff can escort and bring guests thru so you don't have to pay again for a ticket to enter the attraction. Every bit of the room is spacious, from the bathroom to shower area to the bedroom. I love how the bed faces a full ceiling to floor window where you can wake up to a lovely view while still lying in bed. The bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The water pressure in the shower is good but hard to control the temperature. The hair dryer is a little weak and took a while to dry my short hair. The room also came with a generous plate of fresh fruits. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple, nothing fancy but the usual staples are there and food quality is ok. The live noodles station was the best for me, can't go wrong with hot noodles soup & wantons, especially on a cold morning. Was given a beautiful tea cup as a farewell gift at check-out. Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend anyone planning to stay a night at Xitang to stay here!»

«Staying at this hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the main street, food market, shops, bars, restaurants, and one of the many beautiful canals and scenic spots. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, with the concierge available at any time and always ready to help. They even went the extra mile by picking us up at the entrance gate and escorting us back to the taxi after check-out. Overall, everything was handled with great care and professionalism.
