My experience at this apartment was incredibly disappointing. My son fell ill and had to be hospitalized, so I requested a cancellation or the option to apply our payment toward future dates. The owner flatly refused and charged us the full amount—an audacious move that was surprising, considering our situation. After seeing the reviews from other guests, I was not surprised by their refusal. Many guests reported that the description of the apartment does not match reality. Numerous guests expressed frustration when they were denied check-in after payment. Upon arrival, many attempted to reach the owner but received no response, leaving them feeling stranded. Incredibly, some guests were even asked to clean the apartment and remove garbage upon departure, which is unacceptable. Additionally, several guests noticed animal hairs on the sofa, indicating a lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The owner's rudeness only added to the negative experience, as she only speaks Italian and was unhelpful in addressing any concerns. It seems that many apartments in this building are outdated and poorly maintained, with the owner showing little regard for guest well-being or satisfaction. She appears solely focused on making money at the expense of her guests' comfort. I genuinely hope that our money brings happiness to the owner, but it’s clear that she prioritizes profit over customer care. I strongly advise anyone considering this apartment to think twice and look elsewhere. There are far better options available, as many others have had similarly frustrating experiences.
