"Reservamos 4 noches hasta *********** como parte de nuestros 12 días en Israel, nuestra primera vez allí. Queríamos que esta estadía nos brindara la experiencia de la Ciudad Vieja, y así fue, aunque la logística fue difícil en ese lugar, algo que nuestra investigación no aclaró. Los taxis no pueden llegar hasta Saladino sin un permiso especial, las calles son estrechas y sólo se puede caminar. La entrada más cercana es la Puerta de Damasco, y nuestro taxista fue lo suficientemente amable como para ayudarnos con nuestras 6 piezas de equipaje que debíamos transportar un cuarto de milla. Puede ser ruidoso y ajetreado a veces, 25.000 personas viven en el barrio musulmán, las oraciones del viernes y la procesión de regreso a casa llenaron las calles. Comer en los alrededores era irregular, no había comida en el hotel. El personal era agradable, buena cama y habitación, un poco pequeña (12' x 12'). Todas las caminatas y colinas afectaron la delicada rodilla de mi esposa, así que con un día de anticipación, nos fuimos después de 2 días. El hotel no nos reembolsó el dinero de las 2 noches no utilizadas."

"We went to Zahara restaurant in the Nuchu hotel. Nicely decorated but the music was too loud so the manager did turn it down. The waitress seemed inexperienced. She asked us right away what we wanted to order before even bringing us water so I had to ask the bartender for water. Also the cocktails took 25 minutes to arrive. The menu only served beef, one fish dish and goose. I had the crispy goose leg salad with mint leaves. Quite tasty but hardly crispy. Then for mains we had goose breast and beef entrecôte which was prepared well except I wasn’t crazy about the beet cream. What was weird was we noticed the other side of the patio had white tablecloths. Ours didn’t. Typical upscale Israeli restaurant. Better than most."

"The hotel is small, but very convenient both in location and in terms of accommodations. It's four stops from Jerusalem Train Station on bus #18. The Old City is a 7-10-minute walk away, and Jaffa Street with its cafes and shops is a minute away. The rooms are small, and some even offer capsules, but we had a triple room with a bunk bed. The downstairs bed wasn't really a bed—it was a fold-out sofa that had seen better days. In front of it was a large TV with YouTube. We watched it lying down, without folding the sofa, because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to unfold it for sleeping. Since the hotel is located in the basement, our window was small and dirty, purely for ventilation. The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a fan, a TV, another sofa, a low table, a bathroom with a shower, and several lighting options. Water from the shower leaks heavily onto the bathroom floor, so be careful! There's no closet, just a coat rack, so it's difficult to organize your things, but we managed. The hotel has a kitchen with a microwave, stove, hot and cold water dispenser, tables, and chairs—a bit cramped, but comfortable. There's a gym downstairs. There's also a small outdoor area with tables and chairs. It's cozy, with lots of modern art. Towels are exchanged upon request. Recommended for travelers who prefer the outdoors to the inside."

"Unloved not very well maintained. We received an email just prior to our stay so not able to cancel to say the pool would be closed for maintenance until 22nd June. We have just been to the roof to have a look and we would say the pool and the roof terrace had been closed for some time! We have a large pool ourselves which we maintain and the signs of not being used are clear. Even the pool robot looks very unused. Dead unwatered flowers, kitchen full of filthy plates, glasses pots and pans. Broken toilet seat in the ladies. Has not been maintained for a long time. So if you were looking for a hotel with pool look elsewhere! An email sent just after the free cancellation 3 day period saying the pool will reopen on our last days smacks of intention!!"

On the third day, the room was cleaned but not thoroughly, with trash left behind and surfaces unwiped. Additionally, the hotel was noisy, and it seemed like someone was smoking nearby, which was very unpleasant. The owner explained the difficulties they are facing, but basic cleanliness and a quiet, smoke-free environment should not be compromised, especially at this price point. Overall, the view does not compensate for the lack of essential services. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience."
