Chillout - A Boutique Hotel & Rooftop Restaurant Jaipur

I am genuinely confused by the high-rating of this property. There is nothing professional about how this place is run, and this was one of the worst accommodations we stayed at in India. First of all, the rooms are a lot more run down than the photos show. The cleaner allegedly didn't show the day we checked in so the receptionist cleaned the room himself which was less than comforting. We visited the rooftop restaurant for dinner after reading the good reviews, only to find no one there except for staff and mediocre food. The most disappointing part of this stay was the following morning at breakfast, where we arrived to breakfast at 7:30 ahead of a long tour. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7, but when we arrived, they said breakfast wouldn't be available until after 8 because they were running late today. (We have stayed at hundreds of hotels around the world, and have never experienced this before.) When we raised the point that this would interfere with our pick up ahead of a busy tour, they told us to 'delay our pick up and be patient.' Obviously, we did not keep our tour waiting, and ended up not eating until 1pm that day because we did not get the breakfast included in our stay. To top this off, this was one of our more expensive stays on our month in India, and was by far the worst value for our money. Whatever they did before to get their ratings, they clearly aren't doing anymore.

We came for dinner at the Chill Out restaurant and it is a meal I can’t stop thinking about. The staff were lovely, the food was amazing, and the prices were great. Could not recommend this place more. It was a beautiful first night in Jaipur! Xx

We stayed in this guest house for two nights. We had arranged pick up service from the airport way in advance and confirmed the day before arriving as indicated by the Guest House. Our flight was arriving at 2:30am and nobody was there. Managed to call the GH and after some time, somebody finally picked up and very rudely told us that he had forgotten and to find our own way to the hotel. We did just that, although it wasn't easy at that time in the morning. We finally got there at about 4 am and knocked on the door, nobody answered....had to call again, the guy had fallen asleep and after waiting some time, he opened the door extremely bothered that we had woken him up.... This was our first daunting experience with this gentlemen, the second one was that 500€ disappeared from my backpack the very morning we were leaving. Unfortunately I didn't realize until we had arrived at our next destination. The guy at the reception is very shady, rude and dishonest.

The best hostel that i have every stayed in. Great food in the rooftop restraunt made by a lovely ***. Ajeet is the nicest host i have ever met and you can see his love and passion for treating his guest well straight away. He had so many great tips to give us and pit on various things, like a family dinner, to make sure we had a great stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in jaipur.

It's such a nice hostel, the rooms are clean, spacious and cheap. The bathroom has everything you could possibly need, the common areas are great. The staff is super nice and friendly, overall everything has a beautiful vibe. The rooftop restaurant serves amazing local food and the portions are so big. 10/10 totally recommend

This place is worth staying at just for the food alone! The chef cooks all the food to order. The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed for travelling across India, would highly recommend. Great location as it is sort of in the middle of all the main tourist locations
