"So the positive first - cute hotel and very close to the beach. Receptionist was very sweet and the pool was clean and a nice option to have. Areas for improvement - there was no breakfast as advertised on their website. Not only that, there was no bartender or food available either. HUGE disappointment. Also never received the free bottles of water listed on their amenities. Here’s a big one - no full service spa. I think you can request to have someone come to your room but this is advertised as a full service spa on site???? Lastly, when these things were brought to their attention they refused to give us $ consideration and offered a free breakfast (from the restaurant that isn’t open?) the day we were leaving. Not my idea of customer service for false advertising. Lots of construction next door and the guys working there are VERY loud and partying until 11 pm. Whistling and carrying on. Simply just not ok. Understand the hotel can’t control but you should be aware before booking. Would not stay here again."

"Friendly staff, I was greeted pleasantly and the nice lady at the reception desk made sure everything was taken care of. I felt very welcome. Perfect sized rooms for a solo traveler. Nice tv and of course full blast AC. This place is convenient to restaurants and shop and a short walk from the beach."

"The hotel is excellent, the level is not lower than **** stars, you can choose breakfasts, the staff tries and they succeed, it is quiet, calm and cozy, the manager Alexandra, speaks several languages, including Russian!!! A pair of jaguars, a male and a female, were sitting on a tree five meters from my balcony, the male was posing, the female was shy, then they disappeared. Beautiful view from the window and from the balcony below the pool. I recommend you will not regret it. The sea has big waves, you can't swim, but you can hurry up and watch the trees grow"

"We were very disappointed with this hotel. The online rating of 4 stars and the positive reviews do not reflect the reality at all. This is, at best, a 2-star hotel. The bedroom was acceptable, but the bathroom was dirty and there was no hot water at the sink. No shampoo was provided. There were no hangers in the room and no glass to drink water, never mind tea or coffee. The swimming pool was dirty, and the breakfast was awful with very limited options and an unclean dining area. We honestly did not feel comfortable touching anything there. We booked this hotel as Emma Hotel, as advertised on Trip.com, and found it extremely difficult to locate because there was no sign with that name on the building. Apparently, this property uses several different names to advertise. The only name displayed at the entrance was “Izu’s Place.” To make things more confusing, the hotel also seems to function as a religious Jewish community center for the town, and I honestly think many of the positive reviews come from their own community. We were so glad to leave this nightmare behind. I am also very disappointed with Trip.com for showing an 8.5 rating without properly checking the accuracy of the reviews. I have since checked other providers such as *********** and **********, and their ratings are around 9.0 as well, which makes this situation even more concerning. Something clearly does not add up here."
