¡¡Demasiado caro!! No hay Wi-Fi como en todos los hoteles Sama. Ninguna piscina mencionada. El desayuno era muy pobre. Una habitación estándar me dio la sensación de un albergue pero no una comodidad.
El personal de recepción y del restaurante fue muy amable.

Allí donde nadie podría pensar en encontrar un hotel, descubrimos este establecimiento que combina habitaciones tipo tienda con algunos bungalows algo más arreglados. Con esto no quiero decir que las tiendas estén mal, ni mucho menos. Las tiendas que reservamos eran las de tipo sultán y tenían una cama muy grande con ducha y aseo privados. Las habitaciones y las instalaciones en general estaban muy limpias y bien pensadas. No hay cobertura de wifi a menos que tengas un teléfono del país. La cena y el desayuno se hacen en formato bufé y hay una persona que en el desayuno, se hace huevos a la demanda. Aparte de la calidad del establecimiento, hay que mencionar la proximidad que está del gran cañón del Wadi Ghul. Que es un paraje que debe visitarse porque recuerda; salvando las distancias; al gran cañón de Colorado.

We would spend one night here on a Jebel Sams tour stop over and found the accommodations comfortable, and adequately suitable for a short stay! After checking out the basic level rooms on line we would ask our tour operator to upgrade us to a mountain view room. Mountain view rooms are larger and have a nice balcony with a view of the resort and mountains. Our room came with a small fridge and an electric heater which we appreciated for the cold March night we would experience. Meals are buffet – Dinner consisted of average fare and included beef, butter chicken and Camel Skewers Breakfast was a simple selection of cold and hot dishes and an egg station. We found the restaurant staffs helpful and cheery for both dinner and breakfast. Considering this is a high turn over tour group catering resort, our stay was as expected and we highly recommend upgrading one’s room for added comfort!

Beautiful stone rooms. No problem driving up here with our 1600cc automatic sedan car ( including the 10km dirt road drive to reach the hotel ) We stayed 2 nights with half board. The location of this hotel is great for those opting for W4 - Summit hike cause the starting point it’s just a stone’s throw away whereas the W6 balcony windows hike is 6km away. The room is clean and they provide a small heater in the room, which is great as the room gets cold in the early morning. We also like the food during dinner. The staffs are also friendly and helpful.

Quite a drive on a rocky road to get there but what an amazing place! The spatial design integrates perfectly with the surrounding mountain area and natural materials were used for many of the cottages and main building. Spacious rooms with breathtaking view over Jebel Shams. At night, enjoy a total silence. We ate at the terrace but the heaters made sure we stayed warm.

We stayed in the grand chalet, which is actually a rectangular stone room with a patio looking over the mountains behind. Other rooms are tented “glamping style” (not much above a tent accommodation) accommodations. Furnishings and amenities are on the spartan side. For example, there are only four hangers and an old chest to lay your close out. There is also no WiFi available. We were there in winter and the only heat source was a small space heater so the room was a little cold at night, even with the heater running full blast. Buffet dinner was very good. The barbecued camel meat is a highlight (and probably the best prepared camel meet we tried on our tour).

Exceptional place right on the canyon . Stayed only one night as part of a group tour. I had a spacious room. The bathroom was compact but clean and water was very warm. The dinner was outstanding with a great variety of foods . The breakfast was a bit more limited for my taste as I don’t like cooked food in the morning. The only downside to the place is that the rooms and restaurant at this time of the year are cold at night. They had only a few heaters in the restaurant. In the room there was a plug in heater but it was so noisy that I didn’t borther with it. One in the group however had been able to put the airco onto heat mode . There’s no wifi at the camp and there’s no kettle in the room
