Avra Beach Resort

This hotel was wonderful. Kind and helpful greeting with efficient service even with a late arrival. Clean room with decent view. Great facilities for kids even babies. Nice pool and seating areas. Clean beach with easily available loungers. Great food. The evening entertainment was consistently amazing and the best at any resort we'd been too. Particularly want to shout out about the entertainment staff who were all amazing. Especially Bernadine (Bee). She made my little girl feel special and overcome her shyness, even to made time just for her and keep a place next to her at the mini disco. My daughter cried for an hour straight when we left because she missed her so much. Thank you Avra Beach and all the staff, including Bee, Lia, Mira, Sam and Boogie. Hope to see you again next year.

Avra beach is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. A few minor things that did not spoil our stay at all, no tea and coffee making facilities in the room (we knew this before we went so took a travel kettle, noisiest fridge I have ever heard (had to unplug it every night), shower in a bath with shower curtain (a bit annoying but the water pressure was out of this world. We stayed in the old part of the hotel), toilet locks were a bit hit and miss downstairs. Now the positives... everything else! The rooms were absolutely fine, comfy beds, enough room for 3, massive balcony, absolutely spotless, the cleaners cleaned and changed towels every day. The hotel is stunning, the food was absolutely beautiful, the best all inclusive we have ever had. The Greek and Italian restaurant on the beach was out of this world. The pool and beach(very stoney, take beach shoes) were beautiful with plenty of sun loungers, the sea was warmer than the pool. The drinks choice was fantastic the bar staff and waiting staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly. Some of the nighttime entertainment was a bit questionable but you expect that on a package holiday. The rock band (Daniel & Friend? )that was on through the week was absolutely brilliant! But the best thing about this whole holiday were the entertainment team. Sam, Seif, Boogie and Lia were some of the most friendly, entertaining and kindest people we have ever met. They were great with kids and adults in equal measures, they made you feel like friends rather than just guests and considering that we had some of the most awful weather they kept us entertained at all times. They made our holiday! Thank you to all at Avra Beach for the most amazing holiday, we will be back!

The hotel staff are great, a few minor set backs at the start but very quickly sorted them out. The entertainment staff, fantastic, very friendly and welcoming,( You know who you are ) they really made a good holiday into a great one. Lots of activities throughout the day too. Food selection was great all week. Some of the fixtures and fittings are a little dated in the rooms but with a location like this, you don't spend long in them anyway. Loved it.

We only stayed here a few days just so the husband could recouparate. This place is very well positioned about 10 minutes from the Airport. It is very well kept, it looks really nice , I think we were in the old part but was still nice and very clean. The kids club was extremely good they had quite a few different things on simultaneously for the kids to choose from. The pool were okay, but the sea was right there so I choose the sea as it was warmer. The sun loungers in this area were so comfy trendy and new. The bar area was really nice all the drinks were amazing really good quality and the cocktails were delicious all the soft drinks were proper makes also you had access to water out of the water cooler 24/7. Also there was a snack fridge to bridge the gap in the night basically with sandwiches fruit and other stuff. They had a snack hut that had so much choice also a pizza and pasta place a gyros place and the main part of the restaurant, here the staff and service was way above a 4 star , they were amazing paid attention to every detail. The food quality and choice was great. I really would love to go back here and spend more time here and under different circumstances. I would definitely recommend it I feel this is definitely more a 5 than the 4 they have. I came to this conclusion after I only just stayed in another resort and the comparison were huge considering they were both 4 stars. The only small downside I would say the kids pool is for toddlers so my kids went in the bigger pool, I m not a pool person so the sea for me was divine. Also another small thing that bothered me was at the reception when asking staff stuff they would consult themselves in their own language whilst I was there waiting for an answer which I feel is not very cordial, and I am a multi language speaker myself. All in all this was a great place

We came for a relaxing holiday and that is what we have had. The food was excellent, a wide variety available. The entertainment was very good. Lots to do for kids. (We have none). The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfy. The beach is pebbles, and water is lovely. Get beach shoes they are a game changer. The little shop is also good. Shout out to Boogie, Bernardine, Tibi and a few others they were brilliant staff. Would we come back, yes!!
