Log cabin 2004, living room/kitchen with 2 extra beds, bedroom with double bed, loft (8 m², 160 cm high in the middle of the room) with 2 beds. Vestibule, sauna, wash room-toilet, open veranda. Campfire site and grill hut on the yard area.

Log cabin 2004, living room/kitchen with 2 extra beds, bedroom with double bed, loft (8 m², 160 cm high in the middle of the room) with 2 beds. Vestibule, sauna, wash room-toilet, open veranda. Campfire site and grill hut on the yard area.
Water in the tap contais some iron. However, it's examined and safe to use. Client can bring drinking water if necessary.
Nearest grocery stores in Kuusamo and Posio, distance more than 40 km. Kiri slopes 43 km, Posio (e.g. Pentik-mäki Culture centre and outlet-store) 41 km, Kuusamon Tropiikki spa 48 km, Korouoma Nature reserve/canyon starting points 45 and 78 km, Riisitunturi National Park 67 km, Iso-Syöte Hiking area and Ski resort 71 km, Ranua Wildlife Park 115 km, Rovaniemi 170 km, Oulu 210 km.
Ahonlaita cabin is suitable for year-round use By the lake Kaukuanjärvi in South-Posio.
Good fishing opportunities all the year round (payment of fishing management fee is needed). The lake is rich in fish (pike, perch, roach, whitefish and vendace). Licenses for nets and fish traps can be purchased from local seller.
Good berry picking countries.
Large areas of government owned lands for hunting, small game hunting area No. 2620 Posio. Also Kuusamon Yhteismetsä/Kuusamo Collective Forest owned hunting area in few kilometers away.
Reservation starts at 6 pm, if reservation stars on Monday-Friday.
