Ecole St. Pierre Hotel

This is a beautiful and well managed property, very modern and well maintained. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Yunus at reception was so kind; he went above and beyond to fill all our requests and made us feel so welcomed. Two restaurants on property, both very inviting and hip. Property convenient to many restaurants and cafes.

Ecole St. Pierre is marvelous. It’s a beautiful place, both the building and the rooms. They are modern but feel historic. The courtyard where they serve breakfast (and dinner if you like) is charming. They were extremely friendly and solicitous. They wanted to be sure we experienced everything Istanbul has to offer. The location, right by Galata Tower is perfect. They gave us little gifts in the room from time to time. What a sweet and attentive place. I would recommend it to anyone.

We have stayed in Istanbul before but never in this area and came across this hotel by accident - what a find! The hotel is small but beautiful with a fantastic restaurant (special mention to Hakan at breakfast service), food & service absolutely faultless. The hotel is in a great location, top tip is to ask the staff about the tram that brings you back up the hill (to save your legs as it is about ten mins walk to the Port). The reception staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them - they go above and beyond in order to assist you. We had lovely treats left in our room each day. Our only one small criticism is the storage space in the room - the wardrobe is tiny and there aren't any drawers - but thats only minor, we would stay here again, thank you!

It is a bit unusual to write a 5 star review for a hotel we didn't stay in and never saw a room. During the Turkish national holiday my wife and I, both in our 80s, were exploring Istiklal Street and the Galata tower area when she tripped and fell on one of the numerous curb barriers. Bruised and bleeding we searched for a taxi and, on the recommendation of the Raffles staff, figured our best chance in packed streets was to find a hotel. As we proceeded down yet another small street we chanced upon a security station with an attendant who turned out was part of Ecole St Pierre Hotel staff. He took us to the hotel where the entire front management team provided first aid to my wife and undertook to find us an ever elusive taxi. While waiting for the taxi I had a chance to talk with the manager about the hotel as well as note how clean it was. When we left I promised the staff that I would try to spread the word about this 17 room, historical boutique hotel in one of the prime locations in the city. In many years of travel I have learned that how the hotel staff treat guests, even drop in's requiring assistance, is the best reflection on the entire hotel. I thank the entire staff for assisting us in a time of need and their concern, kindness and generosity is why I strongly recommend this hotel to others and gave it an exceptional rating.

The hotel offers excellent experience! Staff is very friendly! Hakan at the breakfast service was very friendly and nice. The hotel is well located near Galata tower. It is clean, tidy and very comfortable. They maintain Le Labo products which complements the enjoyable stay. Overall, excellent experience!

This hotel is a great combination of five star service and intimacy coupled with a great location removed from the craziness of the old city of Istanbul. The entire staff is extremely attentive and wants you to have the best experience possible. We travelled with another couple and my friend and I looked a little hot and tired when we got back to the hotel. The front desk noticed and two minutes after we got to our rooms, there was a knock on our respective doors and they had sent up fresh lemonade with mint. I thanked the manager the next morning and the same thing happened the next day. Breakfast is great service is equally attentive. Highly recommend this hotel.
