I had a confirmed reservation at Bebek Hotel by The Stay, guaranteed with my credit card. I even called two days before arrival to inform them I’d be checking in early, and everything seemed in order. Less than 24 hours before check-in, I received a sudden cancellation email and a refund — no explanation, no apology, no attempt to assist. I spent nearly an hour trying to reach someone by phone. When reception finally answered, they said they “couldn’t help” and that the reservations team was unavailable and unwilling to speak with me. No one ever called back. No one replied to my emails. This hotel operates with complete impunity and disregard for its guests. Their behavior was arrogant, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable — especially from a property that charges a premium and positions itself as a luxury destination. A last-minute cancellation without cause, zero accountability, and no willingness to even speak to the guest? Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid this place — you’re paying luxury prices, but getting treated with total indifference. Book elsewhere.
