Overall, the resort itself was well done. Not too big, and a really beautiful setting. We were there with 4 families, and it was great for a group. I found the service to be very mixed. Had trouble reaching the front desk before the trip - the phones were down and no returned calls. The staff was helpful sometimes and indifferent other times. Marcus at the pool was the absolute best. We brought our boat, that was extremely stressful bc the ramp was not suitable for a boat larger than 22’. We had a couple of mishaps trying the get the boat on and off the trailer (spring tide). The hardest part of this place is lack of food. There are few kitchen amenities (no plates, utensils, soap, paper towels - nothing really). Just a mini fridge and small fridge. No restaurant on site, but you can order from the sister restaurant, Amara Cay (by the way, go eat at Amara Cay for dinner and sit outside, it’s exquisite). There is no other food delivery that we were able to find, so it’s restaurants for every meal. Gets very expensive. But overall - still great once you settle into it, would return.
