The Moorings Village

My wife and I had stayed here many years ago but had gravitated to the Cheeca when our daughter was with us over the years. Just stayed 3 night over new years with daughter and fiancé in adjoining north and south cottages. The moorings is really nice . Super peaceful and so worth it for a relaxing place to be. Beautiful gardens and pool area . I hope they never change . Really great all around !

What can i say other than it is our 5 th time here staying at the Banyan. This place is out of this world . i look at the negative feed back about the seeweed , smell , lack of service, blar blar blar . These people wouldn't be happy in Buckingham Palace without complaining to try and get something for nothing This is a beautiful, beautiful, peaceful seaside resort where the world stops and life is at peace. People that leave these negative reviews need to grow up and realise this is true nature , not man made Vegas hotels where they are waited upon . free complimentary drinks, food, unlimited . WT.... this place is truly a beautiful, relaxing stunning location where you don't want to be bothered by anybody and enjoy the nature and all that smells and beauty. If you want to nice beach to swimming in go to the Bahamas. The beach in front of our house nothing but beautiful and peaceful . It is the place that you go to, and never want to leave. This is our home away from home. peaceful, tranquil with security that stops people from sight seeing and bothering you anybody that complains about this this place needs their head read :-) This is a place to relax, unwind and get away from the world. Five times here and we can't wait to come back for more. Highly recommend and love everybody there. Thank you for our four days that we stayed with you. Great place so much surround in the hotel I loved it anything there .location was amazing lots places to visit I enjoyed every second.high recommend,especially family with young children.lovely beaches and playgrounds near by,many choice of restaurants.

Idyllic paradise. Serene tranquility. Great staff from owner Hubert to Captain Rob who took us snorkeling/sunset watching to the office staff to Al the night watchman who welcomed us splendidly. Wonderful low-key retreat for my bride of 37 years and I. Orchid House’s vista of ocean across a tropical lawn shaded by palm trees was “pinch-me” perfection. If God did this in less than a week, can’t imagine what heaven will be like with thousands of years in which to work.

Private, quiet. Kind and attentive staff made great recommendations. Captain Rob met us on the dock for a fun boat ride. The pool is heated and we were the only guests there. Hammocks, kayaks, paddle boards, everything needed to unwind and relax. In all, a great experience!

Our last night here and sad to leave once again. It was “busy” here at the Moorings Village…we saw a total of 4 other guests the entire time we were here. Walked to the great little shops and fantastic restaurants a block away and watched our football team lose at the poolside bar next door at Cheeca Lodge where our kids were staying. A 5 minute walk later we were back in true serenity that can only be found here at the Moorings Village. Sandra checked us in as always with a warm smile and our new friend Danny brought our bags to the cottage and helped us get settled then disappeared into the surreal flora and fauna only to reappear at the perfect time as our water bottle needed a refresh poolside. The new pool is simple perfection and as always there is (literally) not a blade of grass out of place. Hard to believe you aren’t on an island by yourself. 7 stars!!!
