La Ferme d'Ervée de Saint-Roch

The most wonderful experience for the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. The farm is peaceful, accommodations modern, and it is close to town for all your needs. The owners, Fabrice and Katherine are simply wonderful. Very friendly and exceedingly helpful. We had a luncheon for 8 WW2 veterans and the Forever Young foundation. Anything and everything we needed was available. I cannot put into words how extraordinary this experience was.

We had an amazing stay at this charming chateau. It is just as pictured, and located in a rural area, yet just a few minutes drive to the village of Isigny-sur-Mer, where you can find everything you need. The beds are comfy and the living space clean and attractive. It is a historic building, but feels solid and safe with its stone construction and huge wood beams. The hosts were spectacular, always available and helpful, and told wonderful stories about the history of the area and the property. We had the run of the chateau and the grounds, and the kids enjoyed watching the ducks in a small pond, and the chickens roaming about were a great source of entertainment. There was also a billiards table, a ping pong table, and fussball to keep them occupied. The hosts dogs loved to play fetch with the kids and greeted us each day like long-lost family. Even though we visited many fascinating places in Normandy each day and spent time on the beach, the kids could not wait to get back to the chateau. Our host, Catherine offers a home-cooked dinner meal for an extra, very reasonable charge, and I highly recommend it. Tender meat slow cooked in a sauce, local vegetables and cheeses and desserts including the local whipped cream. Absolutely fabulous. The only small disappointment was there was no continental breakfast, but a morning trip to the local patisserie provided the best croissants, and we had 2 refrigerators to store whatever we needed to make our own.

Delightful stay in June It was a lovely stay. Room was spacious and allowed a space for our kids separate from our own. Host and hostess were great and the breakfast was locally sourced and amazing. Kids enjoyed tossing chew toys in the yard for the dogs to chase. I’m allergic to animals and had no issues in the room as they don’t seem to be allowed inside. Thanks for a fun few days in Normandy!

Wonderful B&B in the French countryside The B&B is a large farmhouse with two family suites on the upper level, a large kitchen and living room on the lower level. Our suite had two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a king bed and sofa, the other has two single beds. We had use of the living room and kitchen during our stay. The couple that own the B&B are extremely nice. Resa made breakfast for us each day using locally sourced ingredients. She also cooked dinner during our final evening. The location is great - a short drive to Utah Beach, Omaha Beach or Bayeux. We visited Mont Saint-Michel and it was about a 90 minute drive each way. There is so much more in the area that I want to see. I'm sure I will be staying here again.

Lovely accommodation in a rural setting. Easy access to everything by car. Really enjoyed our stay though it was just one night.

This place was fantastic. Very quiet. Not much around but that suited me just fine. I traveled with my husband and two adult children. We had a suite to ourselves and had plenty of room. The common area with the fireplace and pool table was super cozy and fun. The owner built us a fire that we enjoyed very much. The owners are super kind and helpful. If they offer to make you dinner, say yes. It was delicious and worth every Euro. I would reccommend this place to anyone.
