Sigue buscando: puedes encontrar una experiencia mucho mejor en otros lugares del lago. En primer lugar, la comida y la bebida no son comestibles. No sabía que el vino en Italia podía ser malo, pero de alguna manera esto lo es. En segundo lugar, la política de cancelación gratuita es una estafa: lo canalizan hacia un tercero para intentar recuperar su dinero. Actualicé mi habitación a una con vista al lago dos meses antes de mi llegada y aún así me cobraron por ambas habitaciones y me dijeron que no podían hacer nada al respecto.

Lo mejor del hotel es la vista al lago desde las habitaciones. Pero el personal no siempre fue útil, el gerente se desconectó y la calidad del jacuzzi de la habitación no valía la pena el dinero extra. Si bien el estacionamiento es gratuito; es muy limitado y por eso pagas 15 euros extra por una plaza garantizada. Todo está a una distancia en automóvil del hotel, lo cual es bueno para un poco de tranquilidad, pero malo para opciones gastronómicas fuera del hotel, especialmente si desea disfrutar del vino de la región. La piscina infinita junto al lago era hermosa, pero hacía tanto frío que no podía disfrutarla. Hay muchas otras opciones de hoteles en la región; buscarlos.

The location of this hotel is stunning, sitting right on the water’s edge at Lake Iseo, a beautiful narrow lake surrounded by impressive mountains. The very best part of the hotel is the wonderful chef at the new Ize Restaurant where we dined superbly on a terrace literally overhanging the water, with stunning views. The exquisite vegetarian menu was without doubt the best we had on our subsequent three-week trip to a range of very nice hotels and restaurants. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but clean and well-appointed and a good breakfast is also taken next to the lake on the lovely Terrace 1841. There is also a lovely infinity pool. But whatever you do, be sure not miss the wonderful food created by the Ize restaurant’s terrific chef!

The setting is lovely, and breakfast buffet is pretty good. But they pipe perfume into the common areas of the hotel that is very strong and unpleasant. We had a group dinner the first night and the perfume was so strong it made me physically ill. I admit I am scent sensitive but this was horrible and others in our group also had issues with it. The staff either couldn’t (or wouldn’t) turn it off. It permeated into the rooms as well, and no screens on the windows to air out the room, and warnings that open windows make mosquitos come in. If you don’t like strong perfume, do not stay here!

This hotel is very special. It is situated overlooking the beautiful, serene & peaceful Lake Iseo. It has obviously been renovated - but there are still glimpses of 20th century Italy. The room was lovely with a lounge as was the bathroom - on the small side but had everything needed. We had a lake view - divine The staff were wonderful- especially when we needed them the most! Food wise there were 2 restaurants. Ize where we had a sublime meal and Terrazza where the staff were courteous and the food was so tasty! The town of Iseo is nearby - and is such a lovely town with all the charm Italy has to offer. Both my husband and I absolutely adored our stay and we would definitely want to return so that we can explore the area of Lake Iseo. We also went to Garda on this holiday - a most disappointing area - far too commercialised for us… Iseo all the way!!!

Stayed at Araba fenice for two days and we had a lovely view. But they are trying to scam you when charging for the food we ate during the stay. Twice we needed to correct them and they are telling us it’s a mistake. I would recommend to check your receipts more than once.

A great location at the border of lake Iseo. The rooms are small but comfortable and kept clean and in order every day. The reception is very friendly and helpfull. Waiters in the restaurant however were arrogant, didn't know how to attend to their quests ( not knowing when to serve the food or pour the wine ( matter of speaking: could not tell the difference between sparkling water and sparkling wine). When we adressed him to wait when he wanted to pour the wine, while everyone was still enjoying their apperitve....he was affended. The same happend when he wanted to serve the starters.) At our first night in the restaurant we were offered a glass of sparkling wine by him. We thought complements of the house. Turned out, when I got the bill at the end of the evening, I had to pay €10.= per glass...You don't open a new bottle at the table and offer the wine with smile saying" lets start the evening with a nice glass of sparkling wine and let your customer pay at the end... Breakfast service however was great! So... change some of the restaurant and bar staff and the hotel and hotel restaurant will both be great!

We stayed two nights as part of a group of 14 and this very elegant hotel. Rooms are quite small, but we really really like the shower and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was really outstanding, with so many choices, including a glass jar of gummi bears! We would have liked wine glasses, tissues and a nightlight in the bathroom. Service excellent in the restaurant. We had drinks in the bar both nights we were there, and the Aperol spritz was a little weak and did not have a garnish of an orange slice. The Negroni the second night was very good. There is very little to do in this town.
