this is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me? second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us. during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.

El hotel es un hotel pequeño, cerca del centro de la ciudad y un parking fácil, el baño es un poco desnudo, pero en general es agradable para una sola noche.

Lokasi mmg sgt strategik if nak ronda2 kawasan Concubine Lane, Funtasy Trick, 22 Hale Street Museum, Platform Half, Gabriel Cafe, Pekan Lama Cafe dll. Just around the corner sahaja. Mike Pizza, Rojak Padang, Nasi Ayam Taugeh dan lain lain. Untuk mereka yg travel gunakan train n bus, sesuai sgt. If nak travel ke Tasik Cermin, Gunung Lang bagai, kena ada transport sendiri. The staff is friendly. Ada cerek letrik, tapi kena beli 3in1 kalau tgh malam rasa nak minum. Malam, mmg x der apa lah. Kalau nak g Gerbang Malam, boleh je jalan kaki dlm 27 mins kalau rasa larat la. But for my family, kami rela jalan kaki walau jauh. Dpt menikmati view malam yg kosong dan view siang yg menyesakkan. Kami stay at family room with double queen bed. Walau bilik sedikit sempit but still comfortable. Bukan nak duduk bilik sepanjang masa right? Bilik air luas sgt, boleh masuk la 5/6 orang dalam tu. Keadaan bau tu, bg kami ok je ala2 macam bau lama, bangunan lama. Especially kat lif. Dlm bilik x dak bau yg kurang menyenangkan. Selesa. Iron, disediakan depan lif. Yes, hotel ni ada lif. Bg yg x larat nak angkut beg beso naik turun tangga, jgn risau. Ada lif sedia tuk digunakan. Ada juga water dispenser kat dapur kalau malas nak masak air dlm bilik. Belakang bangunan ada medan selera. Pagi boleh la lapik perut sbelum gerak ronda tuk food hunting yg sebenar. Ada jam beso yg cukup time berbunyi. Nak jalan ke ets amik masa dlm 15-20 mins. Kalau dr stesen bas Jalan Bendahara, dalam 27 mins. We prefer berjalan je semua. Baru feel ala2 tourist di negara sendiri.

Debido a la reserva de última hora, tenemos que esperar casi 2 horas. Algunos miembros del personal trabajan desde casa, pero el personal del mostrador de recepción me está ayudando mucho. Reserva confirmada por trip.com pero necesita tiempo para recibir notificación y aprobación del hotel en su sistema. Todos los miembros de la familia están realmente agotados al viajar largas distancias durante las visitas de Hari Raya a sus familiares. Finalmente, conseguimos nuestra habitación sin ninguna queja a las 10 pm😁. ¿Solo el estacionamiento es demasiado limitado y complicado? Aparte de eso... comida de Miker y café con leche del casco antiguo a solo 10 minutos a pie. 7E en el lobby del hotel. Vista superior desde el piso más alto. Volveré y lo recomendaré. Pero por favor reserve en línea con anticipación. De lo contrario, tienes que esperar 2 horas como yo 😁😁

La habitación es grande, pero vieja. Es necesario pagar 1 aparcamiento por día. El desayuno es excelente. Los niños menores de 12 años pagan. La piscina está bastante sucia ya que no hay control, cualquiera sin el traje de baño adecuado puede simplemente saltar. Los alrededores no están mal, con la orilla del río y el jardín japonés cerca.

Everything about the hotel was very good including the receptionist, the room, the cleanliness, the location, and the reasonable price. Will repeat again if i come to Ipoh next time🫶🏻👍🏻.

Overall room cleanliness is  satisfactory and amenities are made available though some is missing. The only disappointment is the room have no view despite its at 7th floor. All windows are barricaded by walls with no lights source.  Definitely is a big thumbs down for any business traveler who look forward to a pleasant city view in Ipoh. THe next stay will need to be more specific to have a view with proper light source to tell the day and night apart.

I recently stayed at a new hotel in the heart of Ipoh, perfect for family vacations and business trips. The breakfast was excellent and having it by the pool was a relaxing treat. While I didn’t try the pool or gym, they looked great. The spacious room had a comfy, high-quality bed, full amenities, and a generously sized bathtub. The location is superb—walking distance to a mall and easily accessible by transport. Service was outstanding, from the friendly front office to the attentive restaurant staff, with housekeeping keeping everything spotless. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay!

Good hotel that’s linked to Ipoh Parade. Near a few good massage places. The breakfast had a good spread, but the quality wasn’t great… fruits usually the same, white coffee was subpar, western coffees tasted better. Room, was spacious and generally comfy. Had it’s on filtered water tap in bathroom, that you can fill up in the glass bottles provided. Fridge wasn’t really cold. Toothbrush not provided.
