«A 5* hotel for Chinese customers, not international guests.
The hotel facilities are really nice with nice bedrooms and the park around the hotel is a real plus. They also propose a lot of activities. On that side, this is up to intercontinental standards or even above.
However, there were 3 points that were disappointing and for us are not up to standards for a 5 stars hotel:
- no English-speaking staff is not acceptable for an international brand. We could not communicate at the reception or restaurant.
- it is mentioned 4 restaurants are open on the website and in the public area (1 Japanese, 1 Chinese, 1 buffet and 1 international) while actually only 2 were opened : the Chinese and international one. The latter is not up to international standard: no dessert menu, drinks menu only available in Chinese and the quality was average at best.
- Service for food and drinks is generally speaking very slow (1h to get hamburger while being the only customer/ +30mn to get drinks at the bar) even though the staff is nice.»

房間，大小剛合適，有淋浴間和浴缸，衞生間整體空間很大，每天早上還有晨光喚醒服務😊這幾天千島湖的天氣都更好；
環境，非常靜謐的民宿，偶爾能聽到蟬鳴，看到小貓散步，院子裏還有自己種的辣椒果蔬之類的，後面有個大草坪，適合狗狗玩耍；
地理位置，在我做了半個月攻略之後選擇的這個民宿最大的理由就是它距離我要去的遊玩目的地都很近，最遠的50分鐘也都能搞定。雖然它不在千島湖鎮上，但是遠離城市的喧鬧，尋覓心中的安靜是這次旅途的重要目的，我覺得這家民宿給了我想要的舒適感，所以都能親近大自然了，誰還會在意是否能叫得到外賣呢；

Something that bothered me a lot was the fact, that we booked rooms with lake view. However our rooms were on the opposite site of the lake and we could see only a tiny fragment of it and not actually the real view over the lake. Under that definition, every room could count as lake view, but that isn't quite the understanding I have of it.»

«We had a great time in the bright resort for our weekend bike trip round Qiandao lake. The room was big, the view was very nice and having the hot springs after a long day on the bike was great. It was very clean and the breakfast was ok considering the overall price. Service was very good, we had some special requests because of our bikes and checkout-time which was super easy to align with the front desk. We directly got the contact of 温柔大哥欧耶耶 who was super nice, answered super fast and really gave us the feeling she want to make our stay special and welcoming. Thanks for a great weekend»

MMaarten WillemsVery friendly and super helpful host family. Delicious prepared meals at times when desired indoor or outdoor. Tips for the area. Comfortable, modern room with beautiful furniture, bathroom incl freestanding bathtub in the room and beamer screen. Modern spacious building with warm and cozy feeling. TV. Bicycle could be parked on the property, use of new fairly new kayak gear with supported boat by the host and their friendly dogs. And lighting fireworks was also offered (for free) At departure, a goody bag with homemade snacks and fruit was provided. It was chilly in the lobby and eating area. We had to wear jackets indoor. Total it was very pleasant and we can definitely recommend it. Pets and kids are welcome.

UUsuario invitado部門團建，網上找了幾家對比決定選擇他們家，結果果然沒讓我們失望，環境特別好，而且老闆人也非常的好客，把這裏收拾的乾乾淨淨，非常舒服，這裏不僅有泳池，還有大草坪，泳池的水都是山泉水，很清，很乾凈。太滿意了。悄悄的告訴你們，這裏的飯菜不僅好吃，而且非常健康，都是當地自己種的。

UUsuario invitadoThe room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot.
The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue.
Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around.
Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy.
Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry.

UUsuario anónimoI had a fantastic stay at Haiwaihai Hotel! The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and local dishes.
The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short distance from the stunning Qiandao Lake Scenic Area (Central Lake Area), where I enjoyed beautiful views and outdoor activities. Additionally, I was pleased to find several nearby restaurants offering halal food options, making it convenient for Muslim travelers.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any requests. I highly recommend Haiwaihai Hotel for anyone visiting the area!

UUsuario invitadoWe had a great stay at this hotel this November for two days. The staff are very nice and helpful. They helped us search attractions and car rides. It is at a relatively convenient location between downtown and central lake tourist center, about 1-1.5 km each direction. We walked along the lake view boardwalk to enjoy great lake view both ways. The hotel has very good breakfast for a small fee with both Chinese and western styles. We definitely like it and recommend it. The only drawback is lacking maps or guidance materials so we have to study ourselves for our self-guided tours. It will be the best if tour maps and some tourist info are posted in the lobby. Overall it is a great place to stay and enjoy.

AAnyaWe had such a wonderful time at Voco! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The views of the lake are gorgeous- especially from the breakfast restaurant and the gym. You can watch the sun set right over the water. The hotel staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of options. I do think the restaurant prices for lunch/dinner are a bit high, but the hotel is just a walk away from other restaurants. It’s located on Yangguang Road, right along a running/walking path next to the lake. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Qiandaohu!

UUsuario anónimoWe enjoyed our stay at this inn. The location is very peaceful and quiet, and the views from the restaurant area and rooms were fantastic. We didn't meet the host in person, but they were very prompt to our messages on WeChat and helped us communicate with the kitchen staff about our vegetarian requirements. The food was probably the best part of the stay, we really enjoyed eating a variety of vegtables and tofu cooked in classic Chinese cuisine style. The host also helped us after we were accidentally checked into the wrong room, despite it being after 11pm when we arrived, so we were very thankful for their assistance, though we never saw anyone behind the reception desk on site. It's a great choice for anyone looking to get away from a big city, we had a very peaceful and relaxing trip!
