Camping Lazy Rancho - Eiger - Mönch - Jungfrau - Interlaken

We staying in our 7.8m Hymer following booking ahead. Our pitch was a good size, with water, electric and grey water on the pitch. However, it was right by the entrance to the site, which was busy, but at some points quite entertaining! There are two shower blocks for men and for women. One is the larger block open to and from set hours, and another smaller block by reception which is 24 hours. Both are modern and very clean, in fact, some of the best blocks I’ve seen. Temperature controlled showers with push button activation. 5 in total, 5 toilets and 4 urinals, all immaculate. Good washing up and dish washing facilities too. Location is good with a choice of regular busses such as the 21 (on the main road - 10 minute walk) or the 105 (in the residential area - 5 minute walk) both of which take you into the town which is lovely. All in all, a nice place to come back to after a days sight seeing or enjoying Interlaken.

We have recently returned home after spending 8 nights at Lazy Rancho after we toured around Europe. First of all what a fabulous location and setting, waking up to snow capped mountains and fresh air was wonderful. The site was busy but spotlessly clean and well maintained. Great facilities although the site relies on solar power so best get in the showers during daylight hours otherwise its a cold shower. Another great perk was free local bus travel so Interlaken was just 2 stops away (5 mins) and all the train stations within 10 mins, it was so easy to get around with plenty of lovely walks.. even though the site was very busy and not much space once darkness fell it was very quiet. Our only complaint would be the pitches were not marked out, while we kept to ours and had some nice space around us, this was soon taken by our neighbors with extra tents or cars. We even got blocked in on our pitch because cars had parked in front of our way out, maybe mark out the pitches to stop this or be more strict with these people with many tents.... its a very minor point in a truly wonderful holiday, we will be returning in 2025... well done Lazy Rancho staff

This site is wonderful, beautifully clean and the owners can’t do enough for you every wish is taken care of with a friendly smile, they even came with planks to level our caravan and supplied us with an extended hose for the grey water. Second time we’ve visited and definitely won’t be the last. All this in a beautiful setting, thoroughly recommended.

A wonderful site just outside Interlaken. Great pitches and very clean facilities. Staff are extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions you have. Free bus service to Interlaken but we cycled as it was quicker - 10 minutes on the bikes. So much to do around the area. We used public transport rather than move the motorhome and it was reasonably priced. Visited Lauterbrunnen and the Trümmelbach Falle which were stunning. Switzerland is so beautiful it’s hard to describe and just so clean as well! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Dear all, Beware before booking a stay here the place is nice but the owner and management Don’t like the English and will do everything possible to upset you or give you a hard time. Why they just don’t put a sign up English not welcome as would be better for everyone. On arrival the owner came out of reservation and started shouting at the motor home in front of us as she passed the stop sign to let us park behind her. It was so bad that she was in tears. When a few twigs of the tree we were told to park under we’re rubbing the motor home roof and make a noise in the night keeping us awake all night we asked if we could have them cut. Wow the response was unbelievable, what a nasty narcissistic man I have ever met in my life the answer was No and started jumping up and down and shouting on his radio. To then come back and cut a few twigs in about 30 sec and said that’s it which didn’t solve the problem as it was on top of the roof. We are planning are escape as I type this. Good luck to anyone that gives it a go

This campsite is fabulous; the showers, toilets, washing up area and laundry room are immaculate. The pitches are very well maintained. The owners were very friendly, welcomed us and provided useful info about the area, discount cards and maps. We stayed three nights but there is so much to do in the area that if I were to return I would stay at least a week. We cycled and walked and also had a look around the old town of Interlaken. Look out for the red kites flying above the field opposite the campsite. The views of the mountains are breath taking and the paragliders are fun to watch too. There is also a couple of lounges and swimming pool and lovely children’s play area. Great Wi-Fi connection which is free. One of the best campsites we have stayed on in 19 years of camping.
