Royal St Georges Hotel Interlaken - MGallery Collection

La ubicación del hotel estaba a poca distancia de Interlaken Ost. Aunque era un edificio antiguo, el interior había sido renovado y no había ningún problema especial. Sin embargo, el personal de recepción comenzó diciéndonos que no tenían nada importante que decir a pesar de que hablaban inglés muy rápido, y el personal con el que nos cruzamos en el hotel no sonrió ni saludó a nadie. A la hora del desayuno había grupos de personas de Asia, por lo que estaba animado. No había información sobre dónde sentarme, así que cuando entré al restaurante, ninguno de los miembros del personal dijo nada, e incluso cuando pasé junto a los dos miembros del personal y les dije buenos días, me ignoraron. Por supuesto, el lugar del desayuno estaba lleno de comida y el ambiente no era bueno. Después de pensarlo todo y sentirme mal, decidí no quedarme una noche más y me mudé a otro hotel, aunque ya había pagado. Les informé de esto en el momento del check-out. ¿Es para grupos? Creo.

It’s also a short walk to the Aare River, Harder Kulm funicular, and Interlaken’s main shopping and dining areas. The hotel itself sits in a quiet and scenic spot, offering great views of the mountains. Rooms – 8.5/10 The hotel offers both historic and modern rooms, so the experience can vary depending on what you book. Historic rooms (in the main building) feature high ceilings, elegant decor, and antique-style furnishings, giving a grand, old-world charm. Modern rooms (in the newer wing) are sleek and contemporary, with all the latest amenities. Some rooms come with balconies offering stunning views of the Swiss Alps, which is a major highlight! Beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped with quality toiletries. Service – 8/10 The staff is friendly and professional, offering helpful local tips and seamless check-in/check-out. However, during peak tourist seasons, service can feel a bit stretched, especially at the reception and breakfast area. Dining – 8/10 Breakfast – A rich buffet with Swiss specialties, including fresh bread, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, and great coffee. The selection is good, though the breakfast room can get crowded. Restaurant & Bar – The on-site restaurant offers delicious Swiss and international cuisine, though the menu is slightly limited. The hotel bar is a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. Wellness & Facilities – 8/10 Spa & Sauna – A small but relaxing wellness area with a sauna, steam bath, and relaxation space—perfect after a day in the mountains. Outdoor Seating & Garden – The hotel has a lovely terrace and garden area for relaxing with a drink while enjoying the views. Parking – Limited on-site parking is available, but it fills up quickly.

Very value for money, room was modern, spacious, mini bar was complimentary and there was complimentary shuttle service as the hotel is a distance away from the train station
