At the front desk, they convinced me to upgrade to the Club room, where I would get Club Lounge access. They did give me a 2:00 pm late check-out, which was really nice. My flight the next day was delayed and postponed until the following day. So I needed to book a 2nd night. I found this out the next morning. Since the prices of the rooms literally almost doubled, I did not get the room with Club Access. When I went to the Club Lounge at 12:00 'ish, they told me I don't have access and I need to leave. I told them that I have a late check-out until 2 pm, so I should have access until 2:00 pm. They told me NO, I do not have Club Access. After 5-8 minutes of debating with them, they finally understood (or they got tired of me arguing) and said I can have the club access until 2:00 pm. I left and told them Forget it. Who wants to see their faces again when they probably think I'm being a rude and disrespectful American. For a 5-star hotel, it was not 5-star service. Also, at one of the restaurants, I ordered a house wine for dinner which cost 19,000 won (almost $14) and it was the most disgusting cheap wine. I took 2 sips and couldn't finish anymore. I let them know, and they could care less. I tell you what...I miss the USA proper customer service. In the US they would take off the wine off bill, and at the Front Desk, they probably would have given me complimentary Cub Access for being treated that way. Needless to say, I will no longer stay at the Grand Hyatt again. I would rather go to Paradise Hotel right next door...
