Very much catered for German people with occupancy being around 90%. Staff mainly speak German. Staff friendliness/Helpfulness mixed. Previous experiences in Turkey much higher in other Hotels than found in Side Mare. Especially the reception staff who are less than helpfull. Wifi drops on and off throughout the day. Cleanliness of Hotel very good. Good pool and beach area. Entertainment very poor.

I read hotel reviews and came across good and bad comments. But I've experienced so many good things to disprove the bad reviews. I've never had such a good time. It was a really fun holiday. foods are good. The hotel view is beautiful. and especially if it wasn't for the animation team this hotel would be very quiet. They took us on a disco tour. I had so much fun. The animators are very close friends. and they took care of us at the disco. And I've never seen such a crazy team. For a while I wanted to be an animator. They are very energetic. I want to come again in the middle of this year. thanks

Visited this hotel end of September. The only good thing to say is the weather. We booked a large room. When we checked in at 1:15am we were given our key and off we went. Something didn't feel right so we spoke to our rep about this. He agreed after looking in a standard room and a different large room that ours didn't seem to be a large room so he went go speak to the manager who came over to us and got very aggressive and was rude and shouting at us saying we was in a large room. So check your in the right room. Food. Very poor. If you're English and staying here then don't. They seem to prefer the Germans to English. They don't even provide a toaster in the restaurant and when I questioned this I was told it's normal for turkey then when we said we had stayed in other Turkish hotels we where then told it's cause customers burnt toast so they took it out. The o it good part on food is they provide jacket potatoes in the pool snack bar. Rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaner is very friendly. Pool area is slippy but is a good pool. Just water is a bit too cold. The entertainment is very poor. Pool games is throwing spoons in to the pool and dive to get them. They cater for the Germans more than uk.

Good food 👌🏻 Room is OK👍🏻 slippery floor around the pool area 👎🏻 some stuff are very unfriendly, rude - specially a guy that works in the restaurant, acts like he is doing us a favor 👎🏻 cleaning ladies friendly and keep room nicely clean 👍🏻 3 elevator that I could count - small and normal full and air inside gets stuff. If you have luck you may catch one, or you have to take the stair if you are not willing to wait! 👎🏻 Recommend staying in the floors near the ground/restaurant floors.

Have just came back from this hotel as a family of 6, the hotel was ok the decor was a bit out dated although rooms were really clean. The cleaners worked hard and were lovely with my 2 year old. On the other hand though the bar staff and waiters not so much we got the impression that they had no time for the British and went out of there way for the Germans. There was some bar staff that where really rude to us a couple of nights and would purposely stay away from our table so they didn't serve us drinks. Also when you leave the hotel grounds to go to shops near by people speak very little English also you get conned out of money. The food sometimes was ok I would avoid eating the cheeses as its made my son very sick. Apart from the pools I would not recommend this hotel we won't be coming back

Lovely clean hotel, rooms cleaned daily. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Pool and watersides kept kids engaged. Lots of excursions to do if you like. Only negative, although not an issue for us, is that its not near the beech but a short bus journey. Would recommend this hotel.

Group of friends visited with children aged 13-16 . The hotel is situated around 10 minsctaci ride outside Side centre . 10 euros in a cab.I.prefer a hotel that is nearer as I would have liked to walk. There us a shuttle bus to the beach, the beach is OK, not the best but there us a restaurant and bar u can use, included in all Inc. The hotel.is spotless. rooms are an OK size, only 3 of us in the room so we had enough space. Don't think they are big enough for a family of 4. We had a room with pool view which was nice. The food is lovely, so much choice and themed nights every few days. choices of Turkish, Mexican, Chinese dishes. The drinks on the other hand are not good.The beer is OK, but the spirits are poor, and the wine us undrinkable,. the only cocktail that was OK was the pink colada. Be aware the hotel is totally geared up to Germans, and Tussians, who could be quite rude at times, be prepared to get up at 6am to get a sunbed round the main pool. All entertainment is in German, and is rubbish to be honest.But there is a nice bar behind the wave pool, but they only play music for an hour 10-11pm. The kids loved the football pitches. and had nightly matches with other nationalities. Most of the staff are lovely, some of the bar staff are miserable, but a big shout out to the big guy at the pool bar and the lady on the reception bar in the evening. All in all a good hotel, not sure it's for the Brits , but a pleasant stay , gorgeous food, lots to keep the kids entertained , spotlessly clean .

What an excellent hotel,from friendly staff,too excellent chefs,bar staff,cleaners,an best of all the holiday reps,they made everyone feel part of the best holiday experience we all have had in a while,the shows,games an chats,brilliant all round

The hotel was everything you expect, amenities good, food was ok, and good on certain nights, and location wise not too shabby for shopping etc. The massive down side was it's totally catered for Germans, kids club German speaking, evening shows German, most of the staff German fluent, pool games all in German, morning music, german. Nothing against Germany or its people, but it's surprising that the company I booked through (Jet2) booked English holidays when it's so heavily biased towards another country, I fully appreciate that hotels will be multi cultural but this one is just too much of one nation, genuinely think jet 2 need to look into this.
