I am posting this review as a warning and hope for you an opportunity to change your vacation plans away from this hotel. Unfortunately for my family and myself we still have most of our 2 weeks left here, but I have to help future travellers to make sure they are better informed about the resort. To start with a positive. All the restaurant and cleaning staff are amazing. Super helpful. But that is the only good thing I can mention. Starting with the reception on arrival, I have no idea what I had done to the lady in a previous life, but she did not welcome me and give me anything that resembled customer service. The rooms are OK, clean but with zero sound proofing and with a baby there is nowhere to hide from the noise (tonight the windows are vibrating) and also no blackout curtains, so get ready to be awake at just after 5am. Then the resort itself. The pool is so small the pictures do not tell the true story. The beach part is as advertised 600 meters away and there is a bus service. But the area feels very poor compared to other resorts and food offerings are limited. And speaking of food, well it is hit and miss. You have to arrive when they open, if not you will not have some options available. Kids menu has been limited and breakfast for kids has been poor, with even the chocolate balls tasting old. Now on the food itself, some of it has been served past its use by date and I have now had the pleasure of seeing a banana with mold on it. By the way, if you like coffee forget it it whilst you are here as this brown warm liquid has never seen kaffine. Lastly, whilst smoking is allowed outside in the restaurant, seriously it should not be, it is like a scene from the 1980s and the world has moved on. Not good when you have a baby with you. Some other lowlights. Firstly, you have to pay for the beach towels everyday. So not all inclusive at all. We exposed the Spa as a money grabbing operation, we were asked to pay 210€ for services which some guys got for 100€. I am beyond frustrated by this establishment, I would complain, but the issues highlighted are fundamental problems, nothing that can be fixed for my stay. To the people due to come here, please look at an alternative. To Check 24 and Schauinsland Reisen I would welcome to hear from you as I feel you are accountable for allowing this hotel to be visited by so many people working hard to pay for it. To the hotel, please take my comments to look at ways to improve, you really are taking a lot of money for little to no positive experience
