Ilford Tower Apartments

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed in especially given what I paid and I'm still waiting for the company to respond, it's been almost a month now! The apartment had a stale musty old ciggerate smell, trapped in everythjng that had not been washed or cleaned - carpet, sofa, cushions etc. The rooms and kitchen cabinets, window handles were sticky, dirty cooker, the table had dust, stains all over walls, dirt and rust on most things, stains on bed cushions, sofa, handles on kitchen. Dirty floor! The filth was never ending. The bedsheets and cushions on the bed had stains so I asked for that to be changed. I tried to use spare bedsheets from the closet to cover the stains on the sofa, but the sheet was filthy!! Bits of old food fell out, so disgusted! Staff came to change bedding eventually but i walked in to find the dirty bedding resting on my open suitcase on the floor clearly touching my clothes in the suitcase. One staff member let the 'clean/new' bedding rest on the floor and part of it was resting on her shoes, absolutely disgusted. This is not how professional cleaners operate (clearly they were not). In the end got moved to a different apartment. The second apartment was bit better, however, however, still had to clean! Second day there was no water for a while. On warmer days the apartment got very hot and wouldn't ventilate properly, of course no aircon. Had to leave the front door open on the warmer days to help air the apartment.
