During a 4-week trip to India, Sopanam Heritage was my favorite place that we stayed. The hosts were extremely kind and attentive, great communicators, and helpful in so many ways. They were available to assist with transport, arrange activities, and help with logistical support for traveling. The food was delicious, and the family so kind. The perfect combination of family warmth and attentive customer service and hospitality. Highly recommended, I would love to return there one day. Thank you!!!

I found my new home in Thekkady - Sopanam heritage. I could not imagine any better hosts than brother Lawrence and brother Rajesh (and his family)! The way they take care of us was unforgettable! From home made Kerala food to roaming around Thekkady in their own car, from sipping passion fruit juice (first time in life) to jack fruit fry (made and served hot by Ranjini - Rajesh's wife) I enjoyed each and every moment of my stay. I came back with gifts (from brother Lawrence and Rajesh) and beautiful memories!

Very bad experience with hospitality.. Money minded people ... No breakfast or no camp fire ... Trust me be cautious with the booking ... They are only fit for foreigners who doesn't question anything and spend more money..

Absolutely loved this homestay in Thekkady! This place is beautiful. Lawrence, Rajesh and his wonderful family are the highlight of this trip. If you are wanting a traditional homestay experience, then definitely book to stay here. The hospitality is excellent and this team will treat you like one of their family members. They will attend to any of your needs. Lawrence & Rajesh will provide you with all the information and transport you may need to get the most out of your stay in Thekkady. We choose the jungle safari, traditional Indian massage and the material arts show. Very enjoyable experience. The rooms are really beautiful, i just love the design. Very traditional, cosy and spacious. We have struggled to find accommodations that tick all the boxes untill we came here. Incredible value for money. This is the place we felt most welcome and it has been our favourite place in India. You must try the food at the homestay, freshly prepared and taste amazing. I had the best paneer curry! Thank you for everything, we hope to stay here again in the future with a family of our own

Wood paneled rooms give an air conditioned effect. Where you can feel, you are sitting inside a tree. Not too much cold and not too much hot. With this a high quality homely care is offered from us.
Most of the travelers facing issues with good quality food on their choice. We provides a separate dining area along with a modern kitchen. A beautiful Campfire facility also available.
Our family preparing traditional homely food like Paalappam, dosa, idly, idiyappam, uppuma, kappa fish curry, poori, chakka, puttum kadalayum etc with verities of side dishes.
