I left some wires in the bedroom after checking out and the staff informed us about it. They sent an email and a form asking me to hand over my bank details (which i wasn’t comfortable doing) without even saying how much they were going to take out. I replied and asked for an alternative payment method. Weeks pass, i re-sent the email twice, no replies. i tried calling on the phone but at some point the phone was also down (couldn’t get through after the machine). Finally got hold of a person this week. Was told they’re going to check again and reply “rapidly”. Well, i had to call again after a few hours because this person never got back to me. Two days later they tell me they never found anything in the bedroom. So why would they even send a form asking for a debit if nothing was left in the first place? I understand I’m not the only guest in this place but the disorganization and lack of helpfulness boggles my mind. I’ve left stuff several times in other hotels, bigger ones with more guests, smaller ones too, but so far this is the only time it was a mess, a mega ****** to deal with the staff just to get info. I hope they improve this next time. Especially for the price people pay for, paying attention to details and recognizing when you’re wrong is part of the minimum expectations. P.S., after the whole debacle, staff didn’t even bother to apologize. Bravo!
