A rare hotel that makes guests feel like they are crossing an immigration checkpoint - "Reason for visit", "Name of Company" and, if that isn't enough to cheese one off, the take a photo for their records. All this after taking the govt photo ID. The room as plastic bottles of water, with an unfriendly notice that say "bottles taken out of the room will be charged".
They might be getting a particularly nasty kind of people staying with them, and hence they feel the need to come across in this unnecessary rude manner, but certainly not a place i would choose to stay in again.
No ironing board or iron in the room - an basic necessity for a business traveler. When I asked for one, they sent an iron. Had to ask the lady about the iron board, and she expressed surprise that i required one at all. She brought it, finally. The staff are all "normal" people, it is just the weird vibes the hotel gives out that are a bit creepy and off putting.
