I'm not even sure where to begin. My family traveled in Africa for 2 weeks, 3 of those nights we stayed at Masuwe. This place is number 1 on our favorite part of our trip. We were welcomed to Masuwe and told we were family and we truly felt we were. The place is beautiful. The food was amazing and the accommodations were great as well. The lodge has a watering hole that we were able to see animals come and drink from. However if we could give the staff 100 stars we would. They were so friendly and truly made our stay unforgettable. My daughter did not feel well one night so Daisey (the cook) made her a special meal. We were also there for Mother’s Day and they made me feel like a queen! The meal was out of this world. We were very sad to leave and I really can’t put into words how special this part of our trip was. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

We had a fantastic time at the Masuwe Lodge! Cas and his team made us feel part of the family! Great position - as animals are coming very close to the lodge to drink the water of the river and of a small lake - great care from the staff, particularly from Arnold, great food - a big thanks to Daisy who prepared the best chicken ever, endorsed by our 7 years old!

I stayed at Masuwe Lodge as part of the Mindful Safari program and it was one of the best experiences ever. Everything about Masuwe Lodge was first class, from the location (who else can say they can look over a balcony and see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, baboons and vervet monkeys?) , to the accommodation, the staff, the food, the game drives, absolutely everything!! I have already been recommending Masuwe Lodge to friends in Australia who are thinking of travelling to this part of Africa. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to come back to Zimbabwe again and, I know when I do, I’ll be headed back to my home away from home, Masuwe Lodge.

If you’re planning a trip to Victoria Falls during your safari, don't miss an opportunity to stay at Masuwe Lodge. Casius and his staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. This all-inclusive safari lodge is charming, very comfortable and well-equipped with amenities. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Although our time there was short, it was truly memorable. Thank you to the team at Masuwe Lodge for making this a wonderful vacation!

We had a marvelous 3-night stay at Masuwe Lodge in April 2024. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like honored guests. Major domo Cass and his team took care of us in style, arranging a trip to the falls, a sunset river cruise, safari drives in Zambezi National Park, and a walking safari on the Lodge property. Food was excellent, which we enjoyed while overlooking the water hole where elephants, antelope, and baboons were frequent visitors. Coming from USA, we were a little nervous wiring our reservation payment to Zimbabwe, but everything was fine. So glad we booked here!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Masuwe lodge. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and the host Cassius was very friendly and helpful in arranging excursions and taking us into Victoria Falls as well as a tour of the town. All of the staff were lovely and the meals prepared by Chef Prosper were delicious. The lodge tents were great with a very comfortable bed, air-con, overhead fan, fridge and a deck. It was wonderful whilst eating dinner on the main area deck to watch the elephants at the Masuwe watering hole. We saw many different animals on the game drive we went on in Chamabonda National park which was organised for us by Cassius.

At Masuwe Lodge, we were wrapped in luxury and tradition, greeted warmly with lively drums and dances, symbolizing the vibrant spirit of Victoria Falls. Our rooms were a picture of elegance, with balconies showcasing breathtaking views and the beautiful details, such as large, immaculate beds, spoke volumes about the care put into our comfort. The sight of elephants and a majestic giant eagle owl from the deck was enchanting. The staff, with their warmth and sharing of local games, made us feel like family, and the exquisite local cuisine was a delight, making our stay a beautiful mosaic of unforgettable moments.

The tented rooms are so well designed. They have every convenience and are secluded with a wonderful view. My family were well treated by the staff and the food was exceptional. Everyday had a new treat with wildlife, buffaloes, elephant and bushbuck were the most frequent to the waterhole. The manager was helpful with organizing outings and experiences for us. Thanks for a lovely time.

Masuwe Lodge is a timeless place. Perfectly immersed in the bush on the border of the Zambezi national park, it stands out for the extraordinary kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the beauty of the rooms from which it is possible to see many wild animals within walking distance (e.g. elephants, baboons, buffaloes) and the 'excellent food of the chef who prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners for us. It's the perfect place to spend a few days at Victoria Falls without the tourist chaos of downtown. Furthermore, from Masuwe it is possible to do safari in the Zambezi park whose entrance is less than 10 minutes from the hotel. Special mention to the availability and kindness of the owner. Strongly recommended!
