This is the most disappointing experience this lifetime Diamond member has had at any Hilton property. And, due to its location, this is a place I need to stay fairly often. One can hope management will institute some changes soon. As we are encouraged to do, I checked in on the app, selecting a first floor room. My room changed three times before we arrived in the early evening. We trudged up stairs with luggage. My wife immediately noticed that the bathroom floor was sticky. We put down towels. The next morning, we found that the coffee maker was clogged with moldy debris. I am getting used to the toiletry dispensers showing up in some hotel rooms. However, they are not helpful when they are empty. I reported the coffee and soap problems to the front desk and got very little acknowledgement. So, I added that perhaps they should look into the problems. “OK” I was told. We’ve learned to stay on the ground floor to avoid the elevators that often seem to be used by kids as an indoor playground. This time, the elevators were simply filthy come morning. On this particular visit, the parking lot was full of large trucks, many backed into parking places and protruding over the sidewalks such that they were unusable. The door at the end of the hall was partially blocked by one long vehicle. What would the fire marshal say? Hampton are great, budget-friendly options for frequent travelers. This one needs a reboot.
