The room was small, the bathroom tiny, and a bit drainy smelling, and the shower cubicle minuscule! The shower was little more than a trickle, the towel rail hanging off the wall, the loo cistern not attached to the wall properly, and the window frame black with mould, with several panes cracked. The room was otherwise clean, the bed comfortable and tea, coffee, orange juice and porridge was a lovely bonus. Our room was, in my opinion, not worth the money charged, but it served a purpose for one night to attend a local funeral.

Excellent find , can’t fault the place. Very clean and smelling fresh on arrival. well equipped , comfy beds , shower spot on. Tea/ coffee/ bottled water/ fresh orange / porridge all on the compliments tray , nice touch Keyless entry was easy , don’t let it put you off. . Will be using again.

Two days on business. Bed comfy, room a little on small side but ok. Shower not very large and a little tempermental. Toilet would n't flush properly. No hot water. Steep stair to room (not an issue for me). Very quiet. Nice village. TV a little dated. Overall was ok but needs some TLC.

Needed local accommodation as we were visiting family in the village. Morley Rooms was ideal. Lovely clean room with en suite, tv and lovely orange juice as well as usual beverages. No breakfast till 9 in the Bistro but we didn't mind as we ate with our family just a short walk away. We will return.

It’s all a bit dingy and threadbare - frayed carpets, light switches that don’t work and, in my bathroom at least, a periodic but sulphurous whiff of drains. There was nobody on site to sort anything out and the phone number, despite having a local code, was to a call centre seemingly in Ulan Battur, which is not much use when you’re trying to replace a bedside lamp in Sussex. Which is a shame as with a bit of work this could be a great place to stay - it’s nice and central, it’s in a lovely village and it’s a hop, skip and a jump away from the South Downs Way. As it is, try the alternatives first.

I stayed here for a night before catching an early flight from Gatwick. It was lovely! The room was superb (although the bed did make me feel like I was rolling out of it most of the night). The staff were so friendly and the communications were excellent. I was just going to go straight to bed when I got there but couldn't resist a drink in the bar downstairs. Lovely atmosphere, great staff, very clean and a good price. I'd love to come back soon.
