Before booking i will always read reviews,it helps to decide if to stay or not, so I see it only makes sense that I should do the same. We booked 2 nights with one night having the 7 course menu, which we requested for our second night for our wedding anniversary. The Manor is located in a rural location with stunning views all round, the surrounding gardens could do with a little extra care. The staff were very attentive and extremely friendly. The breakfast menu had a good selection and the food was lovely fresh and hot. The 7 course menu was stunning we also paid extra to have the wine menu with dinner which consists of 4 different glasses of wine served with every second serving. Personally I think I would have preferred my own wine choice. On our first night we visited a local pub called The Crown inn and had a fantastic meal. Our room was over the courtyard with the pond, unfortunately we didn’t realise leaving our windows open would result with us being eaten alive by mosquitoes we found the next morning! The room was a fantastic size and all the little extras were great including the fan. The room was spotless,I wasn’t sure what look was going on in the decoration but it was still pleasant and clean. My only gripe really was the bathroom, very dated, very dusty,a rusty toilet brush holder and the shower in the bath flooded the floor every time you used it! I think if I was to return I may enquire about the variety of rooms first .
