Albatros Makadi Resort - 24 HRS All Inclusive

Very obvious shortage in staff everywhere specially in restaurants and aqua park ( no elevator responsible ) although it is 100% occupancy. Very poor food variety Staff need more training in how to deal with guests , they are always frowning. Housekeeping is horrible every day I have to call them for several times as they always forget the essentials like ( toilet paper - towels - tissues - conditioner - slippers ). Non-cooperative reception team specially their head Mr. Mostafa Actually we used to go to Albatros hotels for the last five years but this one I felt it doesn’t belong to Albatros group in everything REALLY A 5-STARS HOTEL WITH A 3-STARS EXPERIENCE

Amazing Stay at Albatros Makadi – Highly Recommend! We just got back from Albatros Makadi and honestly, it was one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time. The resort is brand new, everything is super clean and well-maintained, and the whole place just has a really fresh, high-end feel. The pools are fantastic, and the aqua park was a hit with everyone—there are slides for all ages, from little kids to adults. The beach is beautiful too, though I’d definitely recommend bringing sea shoes. If you’re into snorkeling, you’ll love it here. They even offer life jackets if you’re not a strong swimmer, which was a nice touch. Food-wise, I was seriously impressed. They have five restaurants, and the variety and quality were way better than what I’ve had at other hotels in Hurghada. The Steakhouse is especially good (just make sure to book it through the front desk in advance). Everything we tried was delicious—top-notch ingredients and great flavors. At night, they have live shows, but there’s more to do if you’re not into that. There’s a VR room you can use for free (which was really fun), plus courts for tennis, paddle, and football. What really made the trip for us was the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. You can tell they genuinely care about making your stay great. Huge thanks to Abdelrahman and Mohamed at the front desk, Sherry from guest relations (she helped set up a birthday surprise for my husband—thank you!), Rahim from housekeeping, and Mostafa from Alfredo restaurant. Honestly, the whole team was amazing. If you’re thinking of going to Hurghada, I can’t recommend this place enough. We had such a great time, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel was amazing very clean the food is great especially the bakery i liked that there’s so many swimming pools and all of them are quite big loved the bicycles , the reception was so helpful especially Mr mahmoud fattouh was checking on us all the time till the check out .. great thanks for all the staff for the amazing vacation

Having been back a few weeks to reflect here's my honest review. We stayed from 1st-14th June 2025. Location - It's Makadi Bay, all that's there is the all inclusive hotels. There's nowhere remotely within walking distance. If you want to see life outside the hotel it's a 30 minute taxi. (I'd recommend downloading indrive app as taxis from hotel reception are expensive) Resort - Incredibly beautiful. A massive refit has been carried out from when this hotel was the Royal Pharaohs. Everything is new & spotlessly clean. Water park is located out the front of the hotel so a bit of a trek from seaview rooms. Wifi quite slow and would sometimes disconnect for no reason. Room - We had a Seaview room that was both large and luxurious with plenty of room for clothes, Great air conditioning, fridge topped up daily with water and bottles of coke/sprite, large tv although only uk channels were news. Quality bedding. Two minor issues though, there is no reading light in the rooms, lights are either fully on or off and also the shower does not have a handle so could be very dangerous if you slip as the shower door is glass. Staff - Room cleaner, waiting staff and lifeguards were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help, staff were let down though by grumpy barstaff and reception staff that didn't seem to know what they were doing (different answers from different staff). Communication - This hotel has very much an Polish. Russian and Egyptian clientele (I think we were the only English there) so communication in English can be tough as the staff mainly only speak pigeon English. As we had a overnight flight leaving we paid about £64 at reception for a 6pm checkout. We were woken by reception on the phone at 2pm asking why we hadn't checked out! After explaining we had paid extra and had a receipt we went for lunch as we were now awake. Upon returning to our room we were locked out and had to go find the room cleaner to open our room. Upon speaking to Guest relation we requested a refund for being woken and locked out but they would only offer a free late checkout next time or a free massage next time. A refund of the £64 should have been a minimum. Pools - Many many pools, all very nice with helpful lifeguards. Absolutely no issues what so ever with sunbeds. Although none of the pools are heated in Summer so are a little chilly but bearable. Apparently in winter one of the pools will be heated. Shops onsite - STAY AWAY! Prices are 6/7 times more than what you would pay in the local supermarket, for example Red bull in supermarket 49egp (about 80p), Red Bull in onsite shop 300egp (about £4.80). Food - Two buffet restaurants open for breakfast both serving the same usual all inclusive fare. Pancakes and omlettes cooked to order, plenty of choice just the standard. Same two buffet restaurants for lunch with a good variety including a cooked to order meat and pasta stations. Dinner is where all five buffet restaurants are open all serving different style

Wonderful rest at this hotel! The hotel is new and clean. Good idea with bicycles! Many pools, also clean! Thanks for beautiful sea views!!!

All the staff are helpful from front desk to waiters especially fahd gad and all the other guys ,there are about 10 pools so its never crowded ull find pool every where the family rooms are great super especially the ones see view there are four restaurants to choose from for breakfast,lunch and dinner the resort is very big so there is alot of walking or u can use thier free bikes but its untill 6 pm only or order golf car if they are free they will come and especially thanks to wael golf car driver the sea is rocky but there is lagoon nice to swim in it
