Parking was great and are meal and car washed in less than a mile down the road so convient

I rarely rate a property this low, because I always want to give it the benefit of a doubt when reviewing, but unfortunately this location isn't up to par in most all areas. The staff was courteous, but were probably just following instructions. In all the other factors, the hotel's presentation and policies are not up to Choice's brand standards. I'm a Diamond member and travel extensively so I spend many nights in their properties. I've stayed at Suburban locations before and had a much higher expectation for this stay. There were no utensils, cookware, plates, etc. in which to utilize the kitchen area as broadly advertised. Cabinets were peeling, the refrigerator and floor was dirty. The bed clothes are very thin, and you're given just two towels and a bar of soap. The room had a very unpleasant order. I had booked a weekly rate, but when I decided to change travel plans due to the unsatisfactory conditions, they went back and charged me a much higher for the nights I had stayed, as well as an early check out fee which was close to what I would've been paying for the entire 6 days. There was nothing in the reservations or the paperwork that disclosed any of these policies. So, just be careful - their property is a bit run down, and their rate policies are deceiving and unfair. Their staff is courteous, but I'm sure they're just following orders due to the type of clientele they serve and due to the type of property it is and as they need to be careful in regards to secure payments to recoup all the can. If you need another extended stay type of arrangement, I'd look elsewhere unless you have no other options. If they could get the policies and procedures, as well as a refresh of the property to meet the higher standards that their employees exhibit, then it could be a great place. For the current time, your dollars would get better value elsewhere.

This place is horrible. The room smelled bad, and the floor was sticky. The outside of the fridge looked like it had never been wiped down, and the paint was peeling off the cabinets. Some of the cabinets had no doors at all. There is a kitchenette, but there were no pots, pants, plates, utensils, or anything to make the kitchen usable even though this chain adverises that these items come provided. There was not even as much as a roll of paper towels. As for sleeping, the highway is noisy, there are no curtains, and the "bedspread" is as thin as a sheet. When I checked out early (because of the conditions), not only did they upcharge the room, they also charged an early checkout fee, neither of which was disclosed in the paperwork I signed. So I ended up paying for this dump what I would have paid for a nice, fully stocked airbnb with two rooms or a nice hotel. I paid $232 for two nights!!! $116 per night for a dump?! Run far away from this place unless you have absolutely no money to pay for a hotel. And if you do stay here, bring all your belongings with you because all you will be given is a bar of soap and two towels. And be prepared for your clothes to stink when you leave. I cannot stress how angry I am that I wasted my money here and now have to spend again for a different place to stay.

Suburban Extended Stay in Huntsville is an excellent hotel! My wife and I have stayed many times and it has always been fantastic. The rooms are well appointed and the kitchenette is a very welcome feature. The staff is friendly and very professional; Especially the General Manager Sheila and Cathy who works at the desk. The cleaning staff is also very good and do a fantastic job. I highly recommend this hotel!

The front desk is the most generous people and the Gm Sheila is sooo sweet she make sure the stay is awesome !! And the location is great and very safe and I love how good the housekeeping keeps up the room

Staff is very helpful, very professional and accommodating. The hotel is older and needs renovation other than that a class “A”with hotel for the price, I was surprise when I arrived at the hotel staff, the GM are so friendly. Thank you for great visit.

When I check into hotel the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The GM was extremely welcoming and the location is great. Orlandria - Kathy and Housekeeping staff are always so helpful. Great place

The staff here was amazing. Ms Sheila goes out here way to make sure u are good and so does her staff all her front office ppl are nice and the housekeeper are amazing so is the maintenance man . I give them a 100 and I recommend any one to stay here ....

I came to visit A friend for an hour or 2 waiting for family. Went downstairs to tell the front desk about noise from next door. The maintenance man was at the front desk acting like he ran things. We asked for the front desk manager because where I work(a hotel) no one is allowed behind front desk nor allowed to interact with customers. The way he talked to us was way unprofessional. He acted like he didn't want to hear the complaint. Turned the issue around on us asking why I was here and wanted to copy my ID. Just for visiting. Font desk should do front desk. Maintenance should stay in maintenance man place period. He was even on the front desk computer which bothered me because I know from my experience he has access to everyone's card and address info he shouldn't have been up there period
