You may contact the hotel when you are the main street for them to trolley in your luaggage. All staff are friendly and warm. Check in is a breeze. Only cons are abt the hotel is hot water stream which takes a while and unstable. Next, you will be disturb if ur room is next hotel entrance as there will be traffic and noise as early as 6am.
Hotel room is big and bed is very comfy. If you are traveling to visit mt huang, and hong cun or xidi, would suggest to stay over at tangkou . Tunxi street can be at the last few days before proceeding to ur next destination.»

1.距離黃山、宏村、西遞、呈坎都很近交通方便，黃山市很小，自駕15分鐘到市區。

3.酒店公共區域應該是請園林設計師設計過， 每天都有人專人修剪花草，一步一景，重在細節。

«譚家大院民宿位於黃山北大門北側8公里的饒村，整座建築座北朝南，從東往西由七甲祠、譚家祠、譚家大院三組古建築璧合而成，七甲祠、譚家祠為異地原樣整體搬遷重建，譚家大院為清末民初原址古建。
七甲祠三開二進，與五開一進半的譚家祠相距三十餘米，新連以青磚夾白色造景畫壁的圍牆，合成庭院。院北新建三間兩層仿古徽式民居，現為餐廳，廳前場地鋪拼花磚石，院中植花木數株，帆布遮陽傘罩户外桌椅。院中兩側，兩古建的馬頭山牆粉若素宣，藤蔓肆援成畫。
譚家祠古建現為民宿大堂，巍峨高大，三開門廳上懸“譚家大院”四字金漆大匾，兩邊簇以“黃山迎貴客此間有多佳趣，荷風送香氣何處更着點塵”的楹聯。入門廳、過天井，進大堂，上懸“雍睦堂”金字大匾，兩邊掛“門地清華敬承先澤，室家雍睦畢至諸賢”聯。大堂後有天井及現為廚房的後罩房。
譚家祠間距譚家大院東側院牆十米餘，亦以新建圍牆合成一條長方形小院，譚家大院圍牆外建遊手抄廊，譚家祠側建矩池，中置水缸若衹，架石橋以通。兩建築相對石橋山牆處開門以通。
這樣，三座建築就聯成一個開合相通的整體。
譚家大院為清末民初的譚氏私宅。大院門向東開，進大門後是一個花園，南側院牆下是一片假山，一抱曲水依山蜿蜒而瘦腴婀娜，曲折不見首尾。過水上橋，五開一進半二層大院坐北朝南，四水歸堂中庭，漏日光一片，中堂高懸黎元洪手書“見義勇為”四字楷書大匾，天井廊柱有“最養一心惟夜氣，能生萬物是春風”行書楹聯。中堂後半進為一層後罩房，居中客堂懸“稀齡獻頌”匾，匾下有吳昌碩花果圖並配“青山不墨千秋畫，流水無弦萬古琴”對聯。
大院花園西院門通院外甬道，向西、向北各通數座院中院，其中5號院為譚家大院舊有的書塾，其它均為異地搬遷古建或仿古新建。
譚家大院這片院落，共有15間客房，19張床位。與一般的古建改造成的民宿不同，這裏的客房空間寬敞、設施齊全，舒適度絲毫未受古建的侷限性所桎梏，賞心悦目於徽派庭院大宅的同時，亦與現代生活無縫銜接。
整個建築羣面對黃山，黃山之奇雄磅礴無不被大院盡收，卧遊之美，動人心魄。院前有大荷塘，石板欄橋九曲其上，波光粼粼間偶有魚、蛙驚起漣漪。荷塘前有十餘畝草地，花木點綴。
給人最驚艷的是庭院裏的山牆造景。塊塊粉壁、面面山牆均是素宣，或藤或竹或海棠或瑤草成畫其上，春夏秋冬幅幅不同。
綜上，新舊融合的過渡妙筆是譚家大院民宿在古建整合上的亮點；門洞勾連的院落滲透（如五座玲瓏小院）是民宿“小中見大”、“別有洞天”的景觀放大鏡；異地搬遷而不損原樣，不用鋼結構、不澆混凝土，彰顯了古建工匠的巧奪天工；而暗置空調、上下水、消防、安防系統，使古建不見一點違和感，則足顯水工、電氣工程師、設計師的功力。
行文至此，見手機照片中還有神奇的“水墨畫磚”、桐油泡製的“細墁地面”、美輪美奐的“磚雕、石雕、木雕”、倒掛楣子的隔扇、飛檐翹角的各式門樓、石制檻牆、墀頭、門鈸等還沒有登台一展才藝，在此，我衹有對她們説聲抱歉，在接下來的甘棠明清古建遊記裏，我一定讓她們作為主角，連袂盛粧上場。»

«也是一座小黃花梨博物館，看得出老闆很喜傳統文化，琴畫物極為愛好。園內存了好多老闆拍來的藏品。眾多老物件，讓人尤然生畏。敬畏
整個園子佈置也很國風，非常舒服。服務也是極佳的，下午送來了茶點，落地窗下，老爸老媽喝茶賞景好不愜意。
晚間又送來了夜宵，紅酒+小食水果，恰逢孩子生日，共同小慶祝了一番。棒👍還有絕味鴨脖，真沒想到的。
再説用件也很講究，歐舒丹的洗護，戴森的吹風，馬歇爾的音響，全棉的一次性用品和濕廁紙，得寶的抽紙……
早餐更是中味兒十足，一格一物，一碗熱餛飩，太滿足了。晚上去村裡玩，還借用了酒店的魚燈，也是很漂亮，很厚實的。去村裡遊玩，還有觀光車送去，很方便。
管家、經理服務周到，態度超好，有問題一一做解，暖暖的。前台大姐氣質也好好。

NNaomiOur stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel.
The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right).
While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly).
We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking.
Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later.
I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

GGregMII chose the 0517 hotel after reading great reviews, and they were not wrong! Starting with the simple things, the location is so convenient being in the part of town nearest the park’s south entrance. You can walk there in ~15 minutes, passing several options for a street food breakfast along the way. There is also a good selection of restaurants for dinner, and a very nice bakery to pick up snacks for the day. The long distance buses arrive at a bus station a few km away, but the hotel will arrange the pickup for you, free of charge.
The hotel’s design in the rooms and shared spaces is very modern & clean, in a style appreciated by westerners. The rooms are on the small side, but have everything you need.
Leaving the best point until last – the highlight here is the customer service provided by the owner Timo and his staff. 11/10! Nothing is too much trouble, they will help you with everything from trip planning, to organizing local shared taxi to surrounding areas, to storing luggage, or whatever. On both the nights there, I had a long, friendly chat with him and a couple of others over a drink in the evening. Felt more like being his personal guest than being in a hotel. HIGHLY recommended!

SSimocwPerfect location in the middle of the ancient village. We’ll restore and refurbished. Super clean. Service is ok but the amenities are quite limited. Breakfast was not included but I bought croissant and coffee….not the ideal choice, better to go for local. So far it was a nice experience thought.

El hotel está muy cerca de la puerta sur de la montaña Huangshan y también ofrece servicio de transporte. El chico de recepción me dio una cálida bienvenida y me enseñó consejos para hacer caminatas y cómo reservar boletos. Hay un restaurante al lado del hotel y el precio es muy asequible. Antes de subir, puedes hacerte un masaje en los pies en el primer piso. Vivo en el quinto piso y el ambiente es cálido y tranquilo. Lo elegiré la próxima vez☺️

Hay té de jengibre caliente en el vestíbulo, un área de descanso y un área para comprar café y bocadillos. El servicio de mayordomo del hotel también es muy considerado y paciente. Dondequiera que haya un mar de nubes, estará allí de inmediato y también se le recordará la hora de cierre del teleférico.
