The breakfast here was excellent with a wide variety of selections of decent quality and a fresh juice station. The butlers were nice and friendly. Plenty of amenities were available.
However even at what appears to be half occupancy rate at the property, there were noisy and littering guests around the relatively small property. The breakfast restaurant also got quite busy at 9am.
The villas themselves are relatively well maintained, but there were rusty vent covers in the restrooms. The rooms were spacious but they offered no view. Bedrooms either had no windows or they faced walls about 6 feet away.
Dinner service was slightly intrusive as we were asked 3 separate times how our dinner went. Our dishes were hastily collected and were asked to help pass finished dishes even though we've already asked for the check.
The staff were nice and the breakfast was good but overall we didn't think the stay matched their ask and the experience they intended to provide.
There are other luxury properties in the area provide oceanview villas and better services for the same or less. The management needs to charge less, or get rid of the glaring shortcomings.

The hotel was quite crowded during the holidays, so it didn’t feel like a relaxing getaway. There was a queue for breakfast, long waits for elevator, and the swimming pool felt overcrowded.
The room wasn’t properly cleaned — the mop smelled musty while the hotel kept the air con on all the time, which made the room stuffy and poorly ventilated.
However, kids enjoyed water park and kids’ club very much.

The food there were also good quality and delicious!

I had an amazing stay at The Standard Hua Hin! The architecture is stunning, blending modern design with a relaxing tropical vibe. Service was top-notch—friendly, attentive staff made every moment enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, from the beautiful pool to the well-equipped gym and beachfront access. A truly impressive hotel—I’ll definitely be back!

1. El personal de recepción es cordial y cortés.
2. La habitación es espaciosa, sencilla y en general limpia.
3. Hay un balcón con vista a la piscina (desafortunadamente, mi habitación da directamente al edificio de enfrente y da a la piscina)
4. La piscina es grande y las instalaciones buenas.
5. El desayuno es variado, fresco y delicioso, cada miembro del personal lo recibe con una sonrisa y el servicio es atento.

Me alojé aquí en 2018. Aunque el hotel es un poco antiguo, todavía me gusta la sensación de elegir este lugar porque desde cada balcón se puede ver el mar. Las habitaciones ejecutivas tienen acceso al salón ejecutivo para el desayuno, el té de la tarde y los cócteles por la noche.
Recuerdo claramente que antes se podía fumar en el balcón, pero ahora las normas son más estrictas. Sólo hay un lugar abajo donde se puede fumar, que es incluso más estricto que en Singapur. El tutú en la puerta es un vehículo de 4 ruedas. El precio inicial es básicamente 100 Zhu, que es comparable al precio de alquiler en Shanghai.
Quizás debido a varias influencias, había muy pocos chinos aquí cuando fui allí, y no había tantos extranjeros como antes. La tienda de masajes en la puerta tenía muy pocos negocios.

Great location to the beach and smaller shops without being in a crowded busy area. It is away from the main roads.
Lovely staff and amenities. There are many pools, 1 fitness area, which is more than enough. The establishment seems to run on community produce and support, which is very considerate and sustainable.
- Breakfast could be better, apart from the 1st day's breakfast, which had a cooked noodle station, there was only omelette being offered. A suggestion: the food could be hotter.
- It was the rainy season, with many dead fishes, animals all over the beach emitting a foul rotting smell. Apparently this is a seasonal phenomenon during the rainy season. It was very unfortunate and quite unpleasant and pungent.
A lovely, quiet, up class place, will return.

I feel that pool and beach service should include providing towels for guests instead of us bringing towels from room.
The hairdryer in our room was faulty and caught fire the 1st night. It was replaced and the 2nd 9ne had fumes and had burnt smell too after 2 nights. I think housekeeping need to check all their hairdryers thoroughly.

HhilldgMe alojé en este hotel por primera vez cuando vine a Tailandia hace más de diez años. Más tarde, también estuve en varias sucursales en China. La última vez que vine aquí fue probablemente hace 7 u 8 años. y viejo como siempre Al hacer la reserva, espero que me den una habitación en el segundo piso porque tengo miedo a los mosquitos. Cuando llegué, la recepción dijo que el segundo piso estaba completamente ocupado, pero de hecho pude verlo claramente. el segundo piso estaba menos de la mitad ocupado. No sé por qué mintió la recepción. Antes de registrarme, me caí accidentalmente mientras iba a la playa y me rasqué la pierna, así que llamé a la recepción y me dijeron que saliera veinte minutos tarde para tratar la herida. Sin embargo, en cinco minutos, el personal indio en el frente. La recepción comenzó a llamarme para decirme que quería hacer el check out de inmediato. ¿No se comunican la recepción entre sí? Hablando del servicio, en realidad ha bajado significativamente en comparación con hace unos años. Fue mi primera estancia en más de diez años y me sentí muy bien. Ahora las únicas personas que están entusiasmadas son el portero y el guardia de seguridad. Anantara alguna vez representó lo mejor de Tailandia. Ahora sólo se puede decir que el hotel resort es muy normal... La hermosa vegetación por sí sola no puede resaltar el hotel tradicional. Además, el nivel del mar ha aumentado. Tantos años, y la playa al lado del hotel ha desaparecido. Por lo tanto, si vienes a Hua Hin por 200 extra, puedes elegir Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental, estos hoteles tienen mejores ubicaciones y playas más hermosas.

DDagsieThis Hotel is Amazing. Arrived in the early hours of the morning at 3AM. We were greeted by the most amazing staff especially the reception lady who welcomed us with a professional and polite manner. She then escorted us to our room and made us feel so welcomed. This Hotel has the beautiful Thai Culture feels and is matched by the impeccable staff working here. An amazing pool is featured near the beachfront with a tranquil feel. The accommodation is beautiful with traditional Thai tones and furnishings. So happy we made this choice to stay, in fact we decided to extend it is that wonderful.

GgodskitchenThe pictures posted be others didn't do this villa any justice, this place looks and feels much better than that. I was sceptical at first, but decided to go ahead with the booking. Was very surprised by the place.
First of all, the villa is totally cool. Reception is very welcoming. Welcome drinks and friendly smiles makes your long hours drive so worth it. Parking is available with about 20 lots. Security will guide you to your lot, not many llts utilised but stayers.
The walk to the villa is just a short throw, 1 minute. Each and every villa has almost totally privacy. 2 main types ground level or upper level. Ground level has private pool, view from upper level is blocked from view via an aluminum awning louvres. The pool is also blocked from view from outsiders via bamboo structures.
The ground level with private pool is all yours, not share with next door. There is a jacuzzi in the bath area. Huge one in a huge bath area. 2 separate wash basins with separate standing shower and toilet, all sheltered by glass panels. Make up area is big too. Big side bed by the ultra huge bed. Putting 2 king beds describes the size, can sleep 4 adults side by side.
The beach is just a few villas roons distance away depending on which villa is yours.

Breakfast is imho about jist above average, sufficient on international and local delights. But don't buy my words, i travelled far and wide and had high expectations on food. Eggs station, wide selection of drinks and around 10 hot dishes, cold dishes about there too. Restaurant is by the beach. Sunrise view but hot is you sit by the individual shelters, else the main restaurant good.
Overall impressed with the service, from security, to porter, to the reception.
Rooms are clean as it can get, pool with some particles by acceptable, jacuzzi is as good as new. Wooden structures dish as doors and bridges by the pool and wooden decks looks a little wormed out, but some has been repaired, never impacting stay.
Location is far from the night market but if you are after peace and quiet, this is the one. Near takiap. 6min drive to hua hin beach, else 30min walk along the coast.
One of the best villas at its price range. Reviewed based on july 2024.

JJHotel was amazing, the stuff was more than helpful and kind… I recommend this hotel 100%, very clean, food at hotel was delicious. Didn’t need to leave the hotel at all and visit specially if you come to have q relaxing time and enjoy the facilities.

AAdrianTan1208The environment is good and stay comfortable, just faced the water supply disruption twice a day on 2nd day during my stay and made us inconvenient. BTW, the resort is sincere to apologise on the problem and give us some special privilege such as waiver of in room dining and free transfer to bus station. The service and how they treat their customers as well as the attitude of receptionist almost perfect when the incident happened. Highly recommended to stay in this resort when visiting Hua Hin where the view is awesome too.
