We always stay at Little Fields when in the area. The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. We always feel at home and have a comfortable stay. We had some laundry which was taken care of and we got muffins for breakfast!

From the moment we entered the property, we were blown away by how sheltered and cozy the entire experience was. From the rolling, green hills to the homemade muffins, to the visting gaggle of chickens, each detail of venue contributed to the overall sense of peace and calm. The room was spacious enough for two people, while emphasizing the cozy ambience. The bed was warm and comfy, the facilities of the room itself modern and excellent. The venue iteself also excellently situated, allowing easy access to shops and other activities without sacrificing the 'farm house' appeal.

This is a beautifully decorated little cottage with charm and warmth. It also has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. This was our 2nd visit and I will always check for availability here before I look anywhere else.

Had a quick stop over here, it was so quiet and tranquil and the cottage was so cozy. Fresh coffee, fresh milk and the best freshly baked muffins ever were a lovely touch to breakfast in the farm style kitchen table. Lovely doggos to greet you

Last February, we spent four nights with our son (5) at Little Fields Country House and Cottages in Howick. What a beautiful and serene gem! We were warmly welcomed by the staff and later by Di, one of the owners. The cottage was stunning and perfect for a family stay, with its charming amenities catering well to children. The outdoor shower offered a uniquely memorable experience, while the delightful addition of freshly baked muffins each morning was an absolute treat. On the day we flew out to Port Elizabeth, I accidentally left some books in the cottage that were important to me. This was handled with flexibility and so much care by Di. A wonderful place owned by wonderful people!

The cottages are homely and comfortable with everything one would need. With a view over the farmlands and short walks on the property they are a perfect base to explore the Midlands. Di is a fantastic host. The complementary muffins delivered in the morning complete with butter and jam a real treat. Basics such as rusks, muesli and fruit were providing making catering for the first breakfast unnecessary, a great touch. Would love to return for a longer stay.

We were stuck in Howick due to a huge accident on the N3 and happened to find Little Fields. The place top class! Room & shower are modern and beautifully appointed. There’s Netflix, warm beds with hot water bottles and electric blankets provided. The freshly baked muffins in the morning were delicious! Highly recommend!

Owners sending message and communicate before we arrived and send location - excellant Felt so homely, cozy. Had bfast muffins in the morning, did not expected that, thank you. Great view. everything was clean and a big fridge. Warm water, comfy beds. Fire place and gas heater, because it was so cold when we arrived at night time already. Everything was ready for us.
