«Sheng 45 Is located a 25 minute walk from city attractions and a 15+ minute taxi ride to the train and bus stations. Around 8am and 5pm, traffic is terrible because of parents picking up their kids at the nearby school. The Good The best part was the social experience. A couple volunteers were very friendly. They played games and watched movies with us in the communal area on the ground floor. It is a great place to meet people. The Bad While the dorm bed and room were comfortable, there were significant issues elsewhere. The door to the room made loud noises whenever entering and exiting that disturbed sleep. Someone kept the door to the roof outside open, permitting the toxic stench from the nearby auto shop inside as well as street noise and humidity. There was only one functioning squat toilet on the third floor in a dirty bathroom with little privacy—one of the doors wouldn’t close.»

«The staff was extremely polite and helpful towards us. They let us leave our luggage for the day. The only downside was that almost none of the sockets worked in our room, but other than that this is a solid hostel for this price range.»

«Really clean, really friendly owner, really good location, in short really good. Very strict on no smoking rules, that's great. Would come again and can recommend! In the winter there is no heating in this hostel but they provide warm blankets and this awesome heating sheet under the main sheet (don't know how to describe xD) so it's okay. 谢谢 :)»
